It's endless isn't it, one vast interconnected sewer.

"The wildlife charity that employs Carrie Johnson is facing further questions over its finances, after its latest accounts show it paid more than £150,000 in “interior design services” to the chairman’s wife last year.

The Aspinall Foundation, which is currently under investigation by the Charity Commission, took in just over £1,500,000 in donations from the public and corporate donors – while in the same year they paid £150,158 in fees to Victoria Aspinall, the wife of Damian Aspinall, the chairman of the charity’s trustees."

Cant help wondering why this is all coming out now.

These cunts have been at it for years.

Remember someone posted a link on here a little while ago where someone was earning about 30k for a few days work and then never made a ripple in the media.

Wasnt grayling the same?

He was getting paid grands for working about 10 days work.

These are the same cunts who give out lectures to people on working hard and you shouldn't expect handouts.

Natalie Elphicke the rabid vile tory cunt who said Marcus Rashford should stick to his day job when he was campaigning for starving kids to get fed properly has got a 2nd job that she gets paid 100 quid an hour for, oh and sold her story about her husband the horrible rabid vile tory cunt Charlie, to the s*n and got paid 25k for it. We are a bunch of fucking mugs

Rees Mogg has 'loaned' himself the best part of £6m from his Caymen Island holding companies to pay for expensive redecorations at his Mayfair property, thereby avoiding tax at the point of earning and spending.

All above board though as he paid them back through dividends recieved in the UK, so a liability against earnings paying nothing on that income here.

All above board, you see.

We really are fucking mugs letting shit like this be normalised.

Totally democratic country. Makes you proud. Vexatious claims by crusty soap dodgers.

The details of a secretive meeting between the PM and oil giant BP,  is among several crucial climate change documents the Cabinet Office refuses to release under the Freedom of Information Act.

The Cabinet Office claims the details of the meeting between Boris Johnson and one of the largest Fossil Fuel companies in the world are “not in the Public Interest.”

Dunno about you, but we’re pretty interested in what went on at that meeting.

It is one of many climate-related Freedom of Information (FOI) requests rejected by the Cabinet Office – with only a handful granted in full.

VOTE TODAY: The news moved on this weekend from two weeks of the Tory sleaze scandal, but that doesn’t mean it’s gone away. The government faces embarrassment this afternoon as Commons Leader Jacob Rees-Mogg asks the House to vote for a motion that would rescind the disastrous Leadsom Amendment (which sought to set up a new standards process, and to approve the standards committee’s report on Tory MP and paid advocate Owen Paterson). Johnson admitted yesterday: “I think things could certainly have been handled better, let me put it that way, by me.” Lib Dem Chief Whip Wendy Chamberlain is asking the Commons procedure committee to ensure MPs get a vote on new anti-sleaze reforms.

Labour injects new life into the row: The opposition has this morning called on the Independent Office for Police Conduct to “look again” at Johnson’s actions following the Observer’s story on Jennifer Arcuri’s diary … it also wants the government’s Independent Adviser on Ministers’ Interests Lord Christopher Geidt to investigate Transport Secretary Grant Shapps over the surreal Sunday Times story from Gabriel Pogrund and Manu Midolo revealing he is spending taxpayers’ money on lobbyists fighting the government’s own plans to build on private runways … and Labour has also written to Standards Commissioner Kathryn Stone asking her to investigate Jacob Rees-Mogg after the Mail on Sunday’s Anna Mikhailova reported he may have broken the rules by failing to declare £6 million of cheap loans from his “Cayman-linked” company.

Who’s counting? Playbook thought he would quickly ran through all the Tory MP sleaze stories that have emerged since the Paterson debacle … Tory HQ is set to respond to the Electoral Commission over its findings on those Boris Johnson wallpaper-gate donations … the Tories face accusations of cash-for-honors after giving peerages to donors who paid them £3 million … Tory MP Geoffrey Cox‘s second job in the British Virgin Islands, via his Commons office … serially disgraced Daniel Kawczynski faces another standards probe after admitting his apology for bullying wasn’t genuine … former PM hopeful Adam Afriyie is facing bankruptcy proceedings … disgraced sex pest Rob Roberts is a Tory member again … Steve Brine had a Zoom with the vaccines minister, then a firm that pays him got a government contract

And breathe: Iain Duncan Smith looks in trouble over a hand sanitizer report … Mark Pawsey has spoken in parliament defending plastic producers while being paid by a plastic lobby group … Philip Dunne asked questions about increasing defense spending while taking money from an aerospace company … Alun Cairns got a job at a diagnostics firm weeks before it got a big government contract … Richard Fuller received £300,000 from a firm that invests in spy technology in China

COVID CONTRACTS: Then there’s £133 million testing kits contract for Owen Paterson’s Randox, as reported by the Guardian last May … The paper then scooped that over a £1 billion in state contracts had been given out without tender during the pandemic … The Tory councillor given major PPE contracts worth £120 million (BBC), later awarded another £156 million to provide gowns and masks which he put toward a Cotswold mansion (Sunday Times). A year later it emerged the quality of the kit provided was so low fewer than 1 in 400 were used (Sunday Times) … Ayanda Capital’s £252 million contract to provide faulty face masks (BBC) … PestFix’s £32 million contract for isolation suits that didn’t meet hospital standards (BBC and Good Law Project) … The VIP fast-track channel for buying PPE from companies with political contacts (the Times) … £122 million of medical gowns from PPE Medpro left unused (BBC) … 10 million gowns — worth £70 million — not used because of packaging (BBC) …

18 months of this stuff: £30 million contract for COVID tests given to a man who owned a pub near Matt Hancock (Guardian) … Owner of a dog food firm paid at least £1 million for her role brokering PPE deals worth £258 million (BBC) … Admin error reveals role of a Tory donor in a £100 million PPE deal (BBC) … Priti Patel accused of lobbying Michael Gove over a £20 million PPE deal (Mail) … Hancock personally intervened to help a disgraced former minister earn a PPE deal worth £180 million (Sunday Times) … High Court finds Gove broke rules in awarding £560,000 contract to Public First … Health Minister James Bethell replaces his mobile before it can be searched for info relevant to £85 million in deals under scrutiny … Firm owned by Tory donor made £13 million in profits thanks to “VIP lane” help (Mirror) … and there are no doubt more. H/t to the BBC for their hard work in compiling the first half of this list.

Bunsen burner: Speaking engagement fees for MPs from financial services firms have more than doubled in the last year when compared to the previous one, according to analysis from Financial News’ Lucy McNulty. In 2018 a dozen MPs earned a not-too-shabby £118,000 collectively for 26 City speeches, a figure which pales in comparison to the whopping £270,720 shelled out to nine MPs for just 16 engagements in the last 12 months. Those nine MPs sharing the £270,000 between them did a total of 113 hours of work — by Playbook’s maths, that’s almost £2,400 per hour.

It's not Ress Mogg doing this shit that bothers me, it's the Labour right like Jess Phillips breaking bread with the people who engage in these activities. Why the fuck are they in the Labour Party?

It's actually much worse than that. He's paying six million to renovate the house. The house is worth much more than that. He also got Phillip Hammond to spend £7.6 million of taxpayers money to do up his wife's ancestral home. He actually scolded UNICEF for providing free meals to 15,000 children living in poverty throughout the UK, calling it "a political stunt".
