They need to cancel all games until the New Year, tell clubs to sort players into bubbles etc like they did in 2020, let the currently infected players wash through,  restart with the 3rd round of the FA Cup and tell clubs that any positive cases after that date is tough shit and they need to get onto it.

Then watch as Kyle Walkers next hooker laden sex party decimates the Man City squad.

He's got Grealish as a team-mate now too don't forget. Another one who broke lockdown to get his end away.

Especially now Emily Atack has dumped him to go back to her married couple…

Actually, didn’t Foden break the rules away with England somewhere bringing a lass back to his hotel room?

The TV firms put paid to outright calls for null and void after the last lockdown. This must be the new tactic. I wouldn’t put it past the fuckers.

The 3 clubs at the top don't have gaps in the calendar to fit these games that doesn't undermine their title challenge. We're playing because we'd sooner play now with covid, than every 48 hours at some later point without it. Chelsea and city are the same. Most of the other clubs have clearer calendars because they can play European weeks even if they have to ask permission to do so. It's selfish all round in my opinion. I'm not saying it's wrong or right, it's just people are going to do what's right for them in their situation. The TV companies would probably be made up if they could put all the games on (for instance move one of tomorrow's 2pm to 12. )

I’m thinking that there are a few clubs who have an interest in maintaining a high rate of unvaccinated players to get their “no relegation” wet dream realised.

Yes, bizarre isnt it? They are probably the same clubs who kicked off about the Euro League and its no relegation point!
