Seen a post in Guardian that should please the masses worried so much about the health of others. To be extra safe pause football until Feb next year and then continue this season to finish.

There won't be any clubs left by January.

Ferdinand is a fucking bellend. I watched that program about his wife dying of cancer and couldn't believe that he had the nerve to do it given the amount of women he banged while he was married to her.

Not sure why her parents tolerate him on any level after treating their daughter like that. Then making out he is father of the decade by actually spending a little bit of time with his kids, meanwhile carrying on his pundit work while his in laws look after them. The odd cry for the camera then back to normal or a visit to a couple of other dads to make out he is a grounded individual.

They probably tolerate him so they can see their grandkids, it’s certainly not because he’s such a stand up guy.

Equally though other clubs may not be willing to pick these players up or the PL can ensure even if the window is open, new players can't be registered. I reckon unless there's been a genuine falling out, we won't see any top flight players leaving at the end of June.

Like I said before, any player who doesnt want to be part of the FIFA wide extended contract thing is going to be on their own. They'll also have no club to give them the best medical care at this time as well. With clubs pleading poverty due to no games, the number of clubs willing to take them on is going to be very small. And as for any new contracts in the new world scenario, they can forget bumper pay and holding all the negotiating cards.

Anyway, in other news, it's disappointing to hear that Scottish clubs have all but ratified curtailing the season for Championship and League 1 & 2 clubs with the possibility of doing the same to their premier league if deemed the way to go. Apparently all that's holding up official news is one club that didnt vote by the deadline.

Not sure how they can proceed if that's the case.

On the question of out of contract players walking away, seems some of them are concerned clubs wont keep them on during the extended season after all.

Sorry, it's behind the telegraph paywall but you can get the gist.

Premier League players with expiring contracts fear being axed in June and have asked whether clubs must compulsorily extend their deals.

FIFA have recommended that terms are lengthened until later in the year, when the season eventually ends following sport’s suspension for coronavirus spread. While first-team regulars such as Willian, Ryan Fraser and Ben Foster are certain to carry on playing, those not in the immediate plans of the manager are sweating on being released as soon as possible.

Agents of players contracted until June 30 have contacted the Professional Footballers’ Association to ask if clubs will be made to extend all deals.

While FIFA cannot change employment law, there is hope they will impose sanctions on clubs should they release players before the campaign concludes, with the punishments outweighing the savings they will make....

Just hand us the title already you cunts.

Id rather we played out the season when ok to do so, myself. Yes, we 'deserve' it but being handed it now would take the shine off it for me. If all the European leagues 'declare' their Champions in the coming months, I'll be ok with it. All the other tits will say it's a devalued title in those circumstances but if every other league has done it, it's just the way it is.

Just hand us the title now, and we’ll discuss the options after.

It's looking clear now that it will go one of 2 ways with the season being finished behind closed doors when it's safe to do so in June/July /August and we'll win it or the season will be curtailed like Scotland looking to do because it's becomes too difficult and we'll be awarded it based on ppg.

Curtailment will come with an asterisk which is better than nothing but the preference has got to be get it won by winning 2 more games.

Thankfully it appears that null and void isn't going to be an option.

Null and void was never going to happen, only mancs, bluenoses and the mentally challenged thought it was a runner. But, you just know these delinquents are going to come out with the title isnt worth it \ recognised \ a proper season due to this virus situation.

Let them spin it any way they want, I really couldnt give a fuck about them and their warped theories.

An asterisk will be there in any case.

Why? To signify the season was finished behind closed doors?

Winning behind closed doors will be a blow after waiting 30 yrs but once we're allowed you can guarantee Liverpool will see the biggest celebration this City's ever seen to parade our title.
