Coronavirus could prevent Liverpool from winning the Premier League title

I think people need to calm down a bit. There is no way we aren't going to get our hands on this trophy. Either they are going to give it to us or they will play the remaining games.

I'd prefer to win it ourselves and have the joy of that moment though, in a stadium with our fans there. Being robbed of that after all these years would piss me off.

They could never void the season and say you're not champions though. We are too much of a global powerhouse. There would be a shit storm worldwide and i doubt they'd want the headache. Remember what happened when we won the champions league and finished 5th? Everybody went mental and Uefa had to bow down.

The premier league wouldn't damage their own brand with one of the biggest clubs in the world who are 25 points clear at the top of the table. We are going to see Henderson lift that trophy one way or another, I'm 100% sure of it.

If we were to freeze the league it would be incredibly unjust for Liverpool to not be awarded the title, because everybody in the game appreciates what a fantastic season they have had. Equally it would be unjust for teams to be relegated with nine or 10 games to go in the Premier League.

I think it's a possible option to leave the 20 teams in the league as it is but bring the top two in the Championship up.

It gives us a larger league, with four relegation places next season and then two teams coming up again. It has some merit but there are a lot of issues to be worked through.

If we can't complete the season we have to look at radical solutions to get over a short-term hump, as it is.

You would think sport was the cause of the Coronavirus yet while all football is stopped (rightly) horse racing is still carrying on you can go on the tube, can mingle around in shops / pubs / clubs / cinemas / restaurants and normal life just seems to go on unabated ....it just seems bizarre .

In a few days a lot of this will have changed. Which will be a bit too late unfortunately.

Tory behaviour

Knowing her and the dildo brothers there's probably small print in the players contracts that mean they'll have to pay the club back this seasons wages and a year will be added on to every deal

No, not having a pop at you mate but I guess that's why she wants the league to be null and void perhaps?

I know, it's ok, I was posting that before you replied, it was a general comment incase anyone thought I'd posted a link to the story. They rely more on clicks now than the actual paper to sell their poison.

It seems Mendy's family member doesnt have the virus. Hudson Odoi says he is over it and Arteta's wife saying it wouldnt have stopped him going to work except for all the stuff going on. The player in Germany Timo Hubers, the first player to be quarantined says he has 'mild flu.'

All this sounds encouraging and league may re start even if it is behind closed doors?
