They brought some new ones out recently. There were Pod Weller and these which are called Pod Gallagher.

Should be call POD Cocoon. I like the way the little dude on the tag has a pair of tits for feet.

I know they still have shops but I rarely see anyone wearing Doc Martens any more.

My birds got a pair of vegan ones. I bought my ex a lovely pair of cherry ones as well. They look boss on women.

There’s a lot of people wearing them , mainly younger ones and there’s a shop here called Doc Martens , quite expensive.

Wade Smith were massive in Liverpool and then just seemed to disappear practically overnight.

Went tits up. Probably didn't help getting caught selling jarg merchandise.

Shit , I've got a Tommy Middlefinger tee-shirt from there that I thought was genuine.

I may have had a pair of red Pony trainers back in the mid 80s. They can’t be still going?

Those shady NFL things? Really wanted a pair at the time, never got them, glad of that now - up there with Reebok pump.

Fila Trailblazer - they were sound for a couple of years around 90-91, only decent Fila shoe.

Currently on sale on these very shores, with the blurb confirming my point.

Maybe you're just not the kind of introvert who stares at people's feet. They're everywhere.

Probably not as easy to spot these days, because they do a much wider range of styles than they used to.

More likely the fashion sense of the Milton Keynes Massive are not as hip, with it and rad as the denizens of Tuebrook (and/or that place what you moved to)

Is Diesel the brand still around? Or Firetrap?

Diesel is still going. I don’t know what they’re like now, as I haven’t had a pair for the best part of twenty years, but their jeans used to be very good.

Lyle & Scott

Pringle

I also have a Lyle & Scott polo to add to the Le Shark one, perhaps it's time to update my wardrobe and hang out with the cool cats like Tom D*vies.
