That's right, a player with 1 cap in a friendly is entirely like a player with 24 caps, what a hot take that is.

When this was an issue, Lucas had not played in all those meaningless friendlies.

If United sign these two young wingers, they won't be going back in for Sancho anytime soon.

They've just spent 30m on this kid Diallo who has played like 30 minutes in Serie A in his career. And then 15m for this Uruguayan kid. To be fair to them, they usually do better buying kids than established players.

Seen this on the BBC page;

The story no-one's reporting - Man Utd have been very aggressive in the youth-level transfer market: Marc Jurado (Barca), Alejandro Garnacho (Atletico), Charlie McNeill (City), Álvaro Fernandez (Real), Willy Kambwala (Sochaux). That's an exciting list.

Sounds like are going for a class of 93 type approach?

Yeah was gonna say, they've been buying a bunch of 16 year olds for a lot of money.

Im just baffled by the fact Origi, Wilson, Shaqiri and Grujic all will be a5 the club on Tuesday.

I'm shocked nobody was fearful enough to go for them as there's a few goals with that group of players. But my guess is the club isn't too fussed because we don't know how stretched the squad will get, the 4 of them combined probably earn less than 1 top player  and come January there might be some really desperate clubs around who'll pay us what we want.
