Deadline day used to be brilliant. It's a load of wank now full of Jim White jizzing over Crewe loaning a Blackburn player or some bollocks. I really hope this one has something to keep us interested. Quite a few bigger sides need players. Utd need about 4, Everton need a keeper, Newcastle need about 14 and we could do with a CB.

not sure how true this is but Cavani linked with United now on a 2 year deal. He’ll be on massive wages and is 33, completely the opposite to what they have been trying to get so must be bollocks but it’s the type of signing I can imagine them making.

I reckon Woodward and Solskjaer both have massive LFC tattoos on their backs.

The one thing Solskjaer got right was the fluid rapid attack that looked good at the back end of last season. Signing Cavani on big money for a couple of years is so modern United. Reckon they shot the bed on Sancho and end up signing DCL for £100m next season.

The Champions League winners have offered to take the player on loan for the rest of this season with an option to buy for £70m next summer.

That's absolutely crazy money for him. One can only think Bayern have no intention of buying him like they did with Coutinho. I know they've been chasing the lad for a while so maybe they will?

It's just an option and not a commitment. We know better than most with our dealings with Italian clubs a few times and a few other cases, options mean fuck all.
