It's probably been said before but it wouldn't make a lot of sense to be signing Sarr given he's African and a forward, seeing as we'll be losing two African forwards for the AFCON already (assuming they're both still here of course)

Is he a regular for his national team? I assume he plays for the same national team as Mané?

Haven't heard from Don Balon lately...

Liverpool are considering experienced Real Betis centre-back Zouhair Feddal as a replacement for Dejan Lovren, according to reports.

The Premier League champions recently made their first signing of the summer, bringing in left-back Kostas Tsimikas from Olympiakos. And it appears they are not finished strengthening their defence there. Dejan Lovren bid farewell to Anfield this summer, leaving Jurgen Klopp with just three senior centre-backs. Therefore, another option is needed to provide depth.

There have been links with a big-money move for Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly. However, according to the latest reports, Liverpool may opt for someone at the opposite end of the price spectrum. According to Don Balon, Liverpool are considering the “surprise signing” of Zouhair Feddal from Real Betis.

The 30-year-old has 20 caps for Morocco, but has never played for a Champions League club. He did, however, make 19 La Liga appearances for Betis last season. Despite his lack of experience at the highest level, the report says Klopp “has a lot of faith” in Feddal. What’s more, the defender is now dreaming of a move to Anfield.

Klopp eyes Feddal as a direct replacement for Lovren, and is confident that Feddal would be happy to play a backup role to Virgil Van Dijk and Joe Gomez. That’s a key factor for Liverpool, as they know they need depth at the spine of their team to maintain their high levels.

Klopp reportedly admires Feddal for his confidence on the ball and lack of mistakes in defence.

Feddal seems like an even more attainable target when considering his price tag. The report says it would not be unfeasible for Liverpool to sign him for around €5m.

Furthermore, the player missed training with Betis on Monday. That’s because he does not want to hear about anything other than wearing the Liverpool shirt”.

It's 120m to Dortmund (City gets 15%, I think) plus 50m for agent.

United are frustrated that things have turned out this way so far; that it looks to be becoming one of those 'sagas'. They are also frustrated Dortmund have so far made them deal with two agents, and do not want to deal directly.

The main obstacles so far have been Dortmund's refusal to budge on the fee, as well as the agents' cut and the player's wages.
