Around our money if he's available for £10mill

Also utter shite.  And despite what some people sprout Klopp doesn't turn water into wine.   He's wheeled and sealed himself a great first Xi with very little beyond it and the players we know as average as fuck are still average as fuck.

Forget Wilson, Josh King has one year left on his deal. Would be absolute utopia.

I like it 3 Stacks. Good player Josh King. Not sure I’ve seen him play as a no 9 tho. Although I’d be okay with playing Salah there. I’d sell Origi and Shaq, get both...

The performances where poor across the team, but take Trent out or Robbo and we aint the same. We dropped 4 points where we shouldn't have.

This team relies on attacking fullbacks and the three up top to cause mayhem. Lose any of those and the balance is off and the quality drops a notch.

The problems we have though is that we only spent £8 million on our fullbacks. We would have to spend a fortune to get a decent backup for either of them and most good players wouldn't want to come here to be backup to either of them.

For Right Back we are fine. TAA, Williams or Milner.

Left back is a real problem though. I can sort of understand the logic of getting Elliot to practice playing in that position, as he looks a long way from being ready for the front three yet, but would at least have the pace, energy and natural left foot needed to fill in for Robertson. Presumably needs a lot of work defensively though?

Wrecks my head mate. Anyone but Jurgen and people in here would be clambering for these to resign. Their track record before Jurgen arrived was garbage.

Exactly this!

Equally utterly perplexed at those annoyed with people 'repeating negative messages'. First of all, what the fuck do you expect us to do in the summer transfer thread, and second of all, what do you think helped us get away from H&G?

Liverpool fans should know first hand the value in holding owners to account. Seems like many are willing to blindly swallow the bullshit being fed to us by local mouthpieces.

Spectacular, no need to improve now.  Everyone knows you stand still when at the top cause that means your squad is puuurfect.

And you have the nerve to say I speak bollocks. Still complaining that we are the best team in England, Europe and the World. I would suggest go and support a team that spend lots of money if that's what is most important to you.

Mel Reddy says we're considering signing Jamal Lewis for 10m. Next season saved.

I'd be happy with that but I dont think we would get him that cheap. Norwich are now asking for 30m off Bayern for Max Aarons.

I think he would want to go somewhere where he has a chance of being first choice as well. Might have to face being a deputy to Robertson for a while and he is already an international. Decent player and would be happy if we signed him.

Did you rate him? I didn't think he was any good this season, personally. Maybe he just has qualities we look for and we think he can improve. Article also said we have a 4 player shortlist, including that Greek guy from Olympiacos, but we're the club in best position for Lewis. So I imagine the fee wouldn't be much higher than 10m, if I'm interpreting that correctly.

I think hes ok and good long term, think Klopp would improve him.i actually wouldn't mind Tim Krul as a back up rather than Adrian but I think Adrian is staying now.

If Lewis is round that price it would be good. Might bot be a world beater at the moment but he has potential.

Lewis is no where near as good or does he have the potential as Aarons.  In fact Aarons is the btter left back.

Klopp should not be put in the position where he is looking for bargains or options from within an already small squad.
For what he has achieved, he deserves better than this and deserves to be backed. We are very lucky to have him.
Our owners are very very wealthy people and can afford to invest. They just choose not to.
Klopp will get pissed off with this at some point.

Klopp is ready to take a gamble on Jamal Lewis, having used the same scouting metric that helped sign Andy Robertson from Hull. Norwich are keen on Yasser Larouci, which could help sway negotiations. [@LynchStandard] https://t.co/F3cWIu3hqt

Wouldn't be a bad deal if Larouci goes the other way.

The scouting metric thing is interesting. Lewis must have some statistical value we don't know, maybe in terms of fitness, km's run, and ability on the ball or something, because on the surface, he was dropped for Sam Byram this season.

Liverpool have struck early to bring in a new signing in the summer window, with Polish winger Mateusz Musialowski signing up.

The 16-year-old has joined for a six-figure sum and will link-up, initially, with the club’s academy. The teenager operates down the right wing and arrives from SMS Lodz.

Musialowski comes with a fine reputation and has already been tipped as a future international for his country.

The winger links up with compatriot Fabian Mrozek; the goalkeeper also arriving at Melwood to join Liverpool’s academy.

Despite the capture of the duo, it’s not expected to be a busy summer window for Liverpool.

The club are in the market for a new centre-half following Dejan Lovren’s departure. Liverpool have seen an intial bid of £9m rejected by Real Betis for defender Aissa Mandi. However, they won’t need to raise their bid by much to land the Algerian.

Aside from that, there doesn’t look to be any other major arrivals coming in at Anfield.

Klopp has hinted he is happy with his squad, with their spending impacted by the global economic downturn.

“I am happy with my squad 100%. I was last year when people wanted us to sign him and him but because of our reasons we did not do it,” Jurgen Klopp said.

“It’s not that we don’t want to, we try to make the right decisions constantly and then COVID came. The situation changed and not for the better.

“It’s not that we think we cannot improve with transfers, we do what is right for us and what we are able to do, that’s all.

“If other teams invest I have no idea, they may know more about the future, I don’t know. But the main difference between us and other teams this year was consistency.”
