Don't care what anybody says, these guys are shysters. Its Klopp's elite management alone that has propelled us this far, I'm utterly convinced of this now. Ill never question Klopp again in any form, because the day he's goes we are royally fucked. Year on year its the same narrative. They are greedy scumbags.

I can understand that people are saying that we are World and European champions as well as likely Premier League champions. But I want the club to still be winning things in the next five years and not fucking off 2 chances of winning a trophy to save the squad being knackered.

What happens when the front 3 all start to decline at the same time or Van Dijk gets injured?

We saw what happened when we got a reserve goalkeeper on the cheap.

You build from a position of power and dont allow your rivals to close the gap on you.

Werner to have a Gerrard-esque change of heart and realise he can either be another one of Abramovich's toys, or join Liverpool and become a bona fide legend.

Doesn't sound promising but you never know Jurgen might zoom him tonight and give him some pearls of Teutonic wisdom.

We should at least have increased our offer to him in light of Chelsea's bid, you never know he might've accepted £160-175K a week and to have played under Klopp.

Ifs, buts and maybes so we'll just have to hope the break has re-energised our attacking trident and they stay fit for the remainder of this and all of next season.

Or, you know, Mbappe?

AFCON if it happens will be a nigtmare for us

Time to start leaking how much klopp rates a youth player and we don't need a forward.

Then when it comes down to it.  We'll fuck the player off on loan to Swansea, bin off the cups, run the front three into the ground and have to watch oxocube, lallana and origo look hopelessly out of place out wide.

I've seen this story before.

Some suggestion it wasn’t personal terms but us asking him to wait a season because we wouldn’t pay the release clause.

Tight cunts. We've spent fuck all for 2 years and even when we did it was funded by Coutinho.

Coronavirus and FFP seem to affect Liverpool more than any club.

It would be, but the virus might yet take hold in Africa or spike again elsewhere causing cancellation.

Cue Evertonians saying we'd be wishing death on thousands of Africans just so we keep hold of our three players who'd be involved.

We need a Michael Edwards feature in the Echo.

You mean they haven't already started saying that!

This is bang on, especially about Klopp. I love Origi more than most and think he should play more but clearly Klopp didn't rate him 3 seasons ago and had a crippled Sturridge ahead of him yet he's still here and the main go to man if we're struggling to score.

Made up he was still here last season but you get the point...

Guess Wilson, Shaq, Grujic, Ojo, Karius, Woodburn, Lovren, Big Div can’t be shifted and the wages of Lallana, Clyne, potentially Milner and god knows how many who have contracts that are running out are being used for something else...

It’s a bit shit really, in fact it’s a lot shit.

That was last season but looks like it will be this season as well.

The longer we go on acting like clever cunts because we wont spend any money it will bite us on the arse eventually. We are lucky that a lot of the clubs around us are or were in transition and we were settled but you cant just sit back and think buying a few young players will be enough.

It took us ages to break into the top 4 so we could get the mythical Champions League money but that hasn't really changed our spending. Record revenues, better sponsorship deals, larger matchday revenue, worldwide recognition, value of the club soaring yet we don't even spend what we earn.

He should have been sold last summer when his stock was at it's highest.

It shows the sad state of affairs that football is in really.  The champions of Europe who were in the final the year before and are on course to win the league in the biggest paying league in the world can’t afford a top draw signing at a mid range price for the market despite not signing a single player the year before and only spending 8m in the winter.

The idea that FSG are taking money out of the club and that’s the reason we aren’t spending is fantasy.  They may be tight cunts and stopping us from taking risks etc but this just seems completely stupid.  If we want to compete financially with United then we have to capitalise when we are on top and stay there so that all these sponsorship deals etc get closer to being on a par with them.  We can’t control how the sugar daddies behave or compete with them when they blow everyone out the water but they aren’t doing that here.

Take it easy! Look at Spurs taking that loan out for loss of revenue. Not sure you can criticise FSG for this. It’s still a business and we’re top of the tree. We’re in really good shape even if we stick with what we have. But I’m sure there’ll be signings. Signing Werner for 50 mill when we have the best front 3 in the World might seem excessive, even more so in these times. We’re gonna be losing 200m+. Hardly FSGs fault.

I think everyone knows that FSG arent as bad as the Glazers taking money out of the club, the issue most people have is that they use any excuse not to spend money and just try to get success by spending the bare minimum to nothing.

They used not being in the Champions League as an excuse not to spend but it hasn't altered their attitude to spending money while we are at the top of the tree earning almost the maximum we can get from kit deals, matchday revenue and sponsorship.

They dragged their feet over the expansion of the stadium when they promised to sort the issue out when they bought us. They are never going to redevelop the whole ground and only built the Main stand after a long drawn out process, now the second phase is on hold, god knows when it will get resurrected.

They bought us for fuck all and the value of the club has skyrocketed yet the owners are still tight bastards who use any excuse not to spend money. Liverpool are a massive club yet we never act like one.

Think how different it could have been if we hadn't bought a bargain basement keeper in 2018 who cost us the European Cup or had a decent player to come on when Salah got fucked by Ramos?

Or if we had signed one or two squad players to get us over the line in 2014 instead of using the same 14 players and running them into the ground.
