If we don't go for Sancho, I think he will go to Spain unless Chelsea make a move.

He isn't going to City and he would be nuts to go to United unless he gets assurances they are getting a new manager. In the current climate there, despite the financial rewards on offer to him, it could negatively impact his growth as a player when he can kick on to superstar status at Barca or Real. Arsenal would be equally unlikely and Spurs aren't going to spend the kind of money to get him.

I think it’ll depend on how he does when he comes and how well he adapts. You could have bet your left bollock that Naby would have hit the ground running but he hasn’t. Werner could come in and do incredible and be a starter in any position or he could be a bit part player covering Mane and Bobby. It’ll probably be rotation with him playing a lot during the time the others are out.

True, will probably need that 6 month adaptation time like most of our new signings need.

Liverpool want £30m Cantwell

They may be reigning European champions and hurtling towards the Premier League title but Liverpool are already formulating plans to improve next season and The Athletic has learnt that the Anfield club have intensified their interest in signing Norwich midfielder Todd Cantwell.

Cantwell caught the eye on his Premier League debut at Anfield in August and Liverpool were among a host of teams to express admiration for the 21-year-old in the subsequent months.

Manchester City, Tottenham and Manchester United are also keen, but once the January transfer window closed Liverpool stepped up their pursuit and can now be considered front-runners.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were able to view Cantwell up close again during Saturday’s meeting at Carrow Road and it is thought he impressed members of the playing and coaching staff.

Regardless of whether they are relegated from the top flight, Norwich would likely seek around £30 million for the England Under-21 international, who has six goals and two assists in 27 games.

Expect this to be Pearced or Reddied.

It would be remiss of the club not to keep track of a player of his profile, but he is not considered an active target as things stand.

There is a determination not to block the pathway for the starlets already at Anfield like Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott.

TLW insiders would have read this on my exclusive post at 10.47 this morning on this very thread.

Seriously though, if we were interested in him, you just know he'd be great for us. Jurgen and Co just don't seem to get things wrong.
