Werner or Sancho?

Am i the only one who'd prefer Sancho? Werner doesn't look that great at anything. Decent pace, decent touch, decent finisher, decent passing, decent/good player.

Sancho seems to have star qualities, exceptional touch, dribbling, speed. He's also taller and will only get stronger as he gets older and fills out. Plus he understands the league more and has played in England and it's his home.

Why are we going for Werner?!

My feeling is that Werner is very good and comes at a very good price. If it's an either/or job with Sancho, I think I would be of the same opinion though.

Werner has it in him to be world class. Sancho can reach the level of Sadio or Mo.

Sancho has gold in his feet, but it seems he is beyond our price point. Werner to me is a safe transfer. Reasonable fee, productive, plays for a Red Bull team who shares our style of football. If the prices were the same, you'd pick Sancho every day of the week, but Werner's release clause is the difference.

Decent pace. Decent! He’s fucking rapid. His finishing is exceptional. He creates, scores, and closes down. I like Sancho, but if the manager sees Werner as a better deal, or maybe him + another player as a better deal... then I’m in.

So they can both be World class then.

Sorry i wrote that badly! Sancho is definitely going to be a truly outatanding player and may already be world class. Certainly i think he wouldn't look out of place in any team. Werner can be world class imo but i'd be less about the success of him.

No transfer is a guarantee of success though and at 50 million, it seems like a cracking bit of business.

We should buy all the players. Buy timo now release clause makes it good. Long term future buy sancho now for post salah days before some other cunt club buys him. As for the money... well work it out. Oh yeah Havertz too. Let's do magic.

Because Werner will likely command 50% less salary, cost 50% less in fees and will be more likely to accepted a rotated part of our front line?

Agreed.

Do you think he’ll play primarily on the left or central (I know he can do both)?

I think it’ll depend on how he does when he comes and how well he adapts. You could have bet your left bollock that Naby would have hit the ground running but he hasn’t. Werner could come in and do incredible and be a starter in any position or he could be a bit part player covering Mane and Bobby. It’ll probably be rotation with him playing a lot during the time the others are out.
