This is a tragic event. Lot's of speculation. This guy has a channel on YT called blancolirio. He's an airliner pilot currently grounded due to prostrate cancer concerns but within months of being returned to flight.

 

He gives an explanation of the known circumstances and weather situation faced by the pilot.
