How to react to the argument "this the weakest ever Premier League".

Was wondering how do our fans react/argue against people who say we are first because this is the weakest ever Premier League due to many teams being in between managers/helped by VAR or any other ridiculous argument just to bring us down.

I'm all for a conversation about the reasons but some of the arguments are just ridiculous.

Yeah, both European trophy finals were contested by British clubs last year. But obviously league is shit six months later

The league has never been stronger. City are the same as they were last year - supposedly the greatest team ever assembled.

The irony is a league where lower teams can and do get points off of Top4 teams is actually stronger .
