The Ladykillers - Although I could have gone for almost any of the Ealing comedies this one stands apart not just for the amazing cast but for the story and the quaint little old lady completely oblivious to everything going on around her.

Planes Trains and Automobiles - Some great comedies also have some harsh reality and sadness in them. Who hasn't quoted several of the lines from this film at one time or another. I could watch this right now.

The Life Of Brian - Had the lads round for a few bevvies the other night, in between beers and haggis we discussed the passing of Terry Jones. Each of us then going off and quoting a lot of the lines from this brilliant film. I had to go to Liverpool to watch this as the killjoys on the Wirral banned it.

Stir Crazy - Prior was a genius on stage but Gene Wilder was an incredible comedy actor. I love this film, too many good bits to select just one.

I'm going to have to come back and add a 5th.
