I notice that George Floyd was covid positive when he died. He would be recorded as a covid death, even though he died because a policeman sat on his head.

He died while infected with covid. In the UK and many other countries, he would be recorded as a covid death. (In fact, he would be recorded as a covid death in this country even if he had recovered from it).

The new tests show a positive result if the person has flu. It also is only being referred to as a Coronavirus test, not a Covid test, so reading between the lines, will this give a positive for the other 6 coronavirus too?

 

It will be interesting to see how things pan out, but I can understand people being worried that this is now being used as a way of becoming a more authoritarian state. "You cannot leave your house except from to work, because 30 in 100,000 people have a cold!"

It's been discussed at length in this thread for months, that in many jurisdictions, if a person dies with coronavirus, they are recorded as a covid death, whether or not it actually killed them.

10 people per day on average are dying in UK hospitals, but the PHE figures would suggest 10 times that are dying outside hospitals? It's lunacy. They appear to calculate their figures by cross referencing who has died, with who has at some stage had a positive Covid test. They could have been asymptomatic 4 months ago and then been hit by a bus, but that would be classed as a Covid death. 

 

The inquiry is ongoing, but logic tells you that these numbers make no sense.

If I get hit by a car and die then they find out I had covid, my cause of death would be a car accident. George Floyds cause of death in this country would have been cardiopulmonary arrest just as his post mortem stated.
