If only we had a proper balanced media instead of the right wing tossers and I include the BBC and ITV in this then he would have been gone by now but we don't so they will regard it as just an inconvenience.

TBH, I'm not bothered if he resigns/sacked or not. In this very period of time it will change fuck all. It's the reporting of it that we should be angered at. The MSM and in particular the TV news broadcasters should have a moral duty to report things in an honest and balanced way. In the BBCs case, they should not only have a moral duty, but a public duty too. After all, they're funded by us. The public.

As I said, if he's sacked or resigns, it'll change nothing right now but if news was broadcast honestly though our screens and other outlets, maybe we wouldn't have the government we do now, headed by a fucking imbecile.

There's been enough shit gone on during this pandemic to bring the government to it's knees. Maybe if the news was reported as it should be, there might be a chance of ousting the tories. Sadly though, we get the likes of Kuensberg acting as spin doctors and fuck all is done about it.

We're the biggest part of the problem as we've become a nation of keyboard warriors. Happy to bang our views out on social media but fuck all else. It's got fuck all to do with the lock down either. We've allowed ourselves to become conditioned to it and the tories know it.

When the Scottish health adviser resigned, it was IMO purely due to the media questioning.

The adviser had offered her resignation but had been refused. Sturgeon then defended her in the press conference, knows she was wrong and will not happen again now let us move on.

Every single question from the media was solely about the actions of the Health adviser and no matter what Sturgeon said the next question was about the adviser and her actions. Afterwards her resignation was then accepted, because Sturgeon realised it had become a major distraction from COVID and it was not possible to move on from unless she went.

I await with baited breath for the questions as tonight Government briefing. They will tell you everything you need to know about our balanced media.

@simonmaroulis: Regardless what party you support if there is no consequence of for Cummings then people are just gonna ignore lockdown even more you absolutely have to make an example of him if you want it still to be taken seriously or everything you say is a Moo point.
