We've got a population of 66 million yet have deaths somewhere between 20,000 and 40,000.

National Holiday on Friday 8th May (VE Day or Victory In England Day) with lockdown ended on 11th May. Hurrah for Blighty.

The FT estImated the actual deaths total in the UK at over 40,000 at the end of last week.

 

The US has handled the situation remarkably poorly. But it's not alone...
