Could end up being one of the most famous quotes of all time. Crazy.

Philip Schofield: Is the delay essentially trying to spread this out so it doesn’t all happen at once and overwhelm the NHS, and that you can actually delay it into perhaps the summer when it’s a little bit quieter and the ordinary flu might have died down a wee bit, is that what you’re doing?

Boris Johnson: Well it’s a very, very important question, and that’s where a lot of the debate has been and one of the theories is, that perhaps you could take it on the chin, take it all in one go and allow the disease, as it were, to move through the population, without taking as many draconian measures. I think we need to strike a balance, I think it is very important, we’ve got a fantastic NHS, we will give them all the support that they need, we will make sure that they have all preparations, all the kit that they need for us to get through it. But I think it would be better if we take all the measures that we can now to stop the peak of the disease being as difficult for the NHS as it might be, I think there are things that we may be able to do.

Israel Health Minister Who Termed Coronavirus ‘Divine Punishment’ Gets Coronavirus

Israeli Health Minister Yaakov Litzman and his wife have tested positive for coronavirus. The minister had termed the deadly coronavirus as ‘punishment for homosexuality’ in last month.

Following the news of Litzman getting infected by coronavirus, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and several top government officials of the country isolated themselves for 15 days.

The Israeli daily Haaretz reported that the head of Israel’s Mossad spy agency and the National Security Council were also asked to self-quarantine because of their interactions with Litzman.

Last month, Yaakov Litzman, while talking about the origin of coronavirus, said: “It’s a divine punishment against homosexuality”. The health minister is also a head Agudat Yisrael – an Orthodox Israeli political party.

Israel has gone into partial-lockdow to counter the coronavirus outbreak. The country has reported more than 8,430 confirmed cases and 49 people have died from COVID-19 to date. Israel’s large, insular ultra-Orthodox community, of which Litzman is a member, has been particularly hit hard by infections.

In the early phases of the outbreak, some radicals had pushed back and ignored the government-mandated movement restrictions.

China Govt reporting no deaths for first time since January. Apparently there is no celebration at all of this magnificent achievement. Could it be because the Chinese Govt are telling porkie pies?

Apparently he didn't have a smartphone or Internet at home until now for religious reasons. Not sure if this is pornography related or not.

Just read that scientists are claiming that shutting schools isn't helping to prevent the spread of coronavirus. If the schools are opened again, how are all the kids going to get to school and back home again?

These scientists appointed by the Govt, what are they smoking over there?

To be more precise: they've estimated the limited health benefits of school closures for children (which is hardly the issue), based on supposedly comparable cases in completely different contexts; and compared these with wild speculations about the socio-economic costs of school closures (where schools are attributed magical properties).

Had a good gasp of air reading that load of crap earlier. Of course, it has fuck all to do with planning for parents to go back to work etc. Bastards are playing with lives because they feel safe within their own environment and fuck the rest. Not only do these kids need to get to school and back but they need feeding, teachers, cleaning staff etc...plus you can't rely on kids to go to school and still bide by whatever restrictions are in place.

Indeed. Of course it's part of the ideological justification of a return to work. Which requires a return to school.

I looked up his height and weight yesterday. Five foot nine and sixteen and a half stone isn't exactly healthy.

Someone was on BBC news this morning saying before this he's in good health. Doesn't smoke and jogs.

He's bagsyied a ventilator in case he needs it.

In the same BBC report, it was said 'he's been placed next to a ventilator just in case he needs it's.

So there's either a ventilator being kept on standby or the poor fucker using it right now will have to make way.

I listened to a quick podcast on London Reel today. I heard they had that demented twat David Icke on, but didn't find that one. Instead there was some cunt absolutely thriving on this situation and telling people it was their own fault for eating too much sugar and having the wrong attitude towards money. Absolute weirdo!

To be fair on the sugar part (refined sugar), if you consistently use too much it can along with other problems : suppress the immune system, trigger inflammation, prevent vitamin and mineral absorption to an extent and lead to weight gain, all things that aren't going to help dealing with this at all.

Blaming people doesn't sound like a good approach though or raving on about attitudes to money.

Fuck what Downing Street wants. Inject that piggy.

Donald Trump has said he asked US pharmaceutical companies working on experimental coronavirus drugs to approach Boris Johnson’s doctors and offer their help, after it emerged that the British prime minister was in intensive care.

In an evening press briefing, Trump did not name the companies or the drugs, but earlier in the day he held a conference about therapeutic drugs with the heads of four US pharmaceutical and biotech companies: Amgen, Genetech, Gilead, and Regeneron.

Trump has consistently promoted the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine in combination with an antibiotic azithromycin, as a “game-changer” in the battle with coronavirus, although his own health officials have cautioned that there is no proof they are effective.

“I’ve asked two of the leading companies ... They’ve come with the solutions and just have done incredible jobs – and I’ve asked him to contact London immediately,” Trump said. “They’ve really advanced therapeutics … and they have arrived in London already. The London office has whatever they need. We’ll see if we can be of help. We’ve contacted all of Boris’s doctors, and we’ll see what is going to take place, but they are ready to go.”

We are confident that the prime minister is receiving the best possible care from the health service. Any treatment he receives is a matter for his doctors.

I didn't used to walk. I used to get a bus. You know those big vehicles that stop at bus stops? I think they've been around a while.
