My 8 year old had it a couple of weeks ago (picked it up in school, the 5 other kids at his table all tested positive). He had no symptoms and neither my wife, my 5 year old or I got it despite living in the same house and not making him isolate in his bedroom (which he shares with the 5 year old).

I'm convinced the whole "asymptomatic spread" is total bollox.

My two children both had it, and where both asymptomatic. The 3 year old had when I did last year, and nobody else tested positive on pcr tests at the time. Then our young lad tested positive about 9 weeks ago, again, no symptoms, and nobody else got it in the house.

How can you spread something if you're not coughing or sneezing. It's bollox.

My missus had it for her first time last week and was coughing like fuck, she isolated in her room and luckily enough, nobody else got it.

Thankfully more people are coming around to this way of thinking. A way of thinking that many Doctors and Scientists were silenced for when it was first released/escaped (who knows) from Wuhan. There's no real scientific proof that there's such thing as asymptomatic spread of any respiratory disease. It's clearly bollocks.

Is it through breathing? Just a guess.

Millions of people think the world is a few thousand years old.  Popularity doesn’t equal accuracy.

As a riposte to soft shite the anti-vaxxer, an old work mate of mine who now works as a critical care nurse in a local hospital has just posted this on Facebook:

"Wuhan strain Ro of 3.3.

Measles Ro of 18.  Considered one if not the most contagious.

New omicron variants Ro of 18.3

Be careful guys....  oh and it presents like viral meningitis and repeated infection destroys your T cell response.

Currently looking at 4-6 waves a year and you can get reinfected after 4 weeks.

But hey the pandemic is over."

Make of that what you will.

In that case I'll have six experimental jabs straightaway please, sir.
