Nope, definitely not a win and thanks for listing what you found. The only possible thing that might help I can see from that is natural immunity being proven to work if the cases stay down which then puts pressure on mandates/passes that are ignoring it. Not a good way for more people to find out that it works though if it does.

Natural immunity. What do you think that means. Or what do you use it mean?

I hope those that have stopped go back now to wearing masks and washing their hands before entering shops etc. I suspect most won't.

Positive for the boy. Still waiting for the rest of our test results. Home schooling for the youngest begins again tomorrow.

*repeats to self* It’s only three days. It’s only three days. It’s only three days.

There’s fuck all wrong with him. It’s me who deserves the sympathy, running around the house catering to his every whim. Every time he hears the kettle he shouts “I’ll have one!”

Washington State University's head football coach, Nick Rolovich, and four assistant coaches are losing their jobs because of not complying with the state's Covid-19 vaccine mandate, the university's athletics department said Monday.

"Due to the requirements set forth in Washington Governor Jay Inslee's Proclamation 21-14.1, Nick Rolovich is no longer able to fulfill the duties as the football head coach at Washington State University," the department said in a news release.

Proclamation came into effect around the 20th August, it gives exemptions on medical/religious grounds, if a person is not fully vaccinated by the 18th of October deadline then they can be put on leave while they wait for the second jab.

Seems like all necessary steps were taken to cover those with genuine reasons.

It is for anyone employed by the state of Washington.

This football coach was the highest paid state employee - 3.2 mil a year.

I know, I went and read some of it.

Covers education, healthcare, government workers etc. I said proclamation because that was how it was described in your post. The fact he, seemingly, hasn't applied for an exemption, suggests he's just being bone headed (and he has previous for it, it seems).

He announced in July before the season started that he would not be getting the jab.

Could have stepped down and let team get new coach at that point.

But 3.2 mil is alot so I think he wanted to test the public reaction/legalities (read cash some checks) before the deadline.

https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-features/nba-anti-vaxxers-covid-1231988/

Quote

Irving, who serves as a vice president on the executive committee of the players’ union, recently started following and liking Instagram posts from a conspiracy theorist who claims that “secret societies” are implanting vaccines in a plot to connect Black people to a master computer for “a plan of Satan.” This Moderna microchip misinformation campaign has spread across multiple NBA locker rooms and group chats, according to several of the dozen-plus current players, Hall-of-Famers, league executives, arena workers and virologists interviewed for this story over the past week.

And many people looks up to these as role models, fucking hell.

France and Spain (both still wearing face masks inside ) currently have less than 10k per day between them while we are at near 50k....And you can say we maybe test more than then but yesterday France 49 deaths with a seven day average of 29 while Spain had 212 deaths with a seven day average of 32

Germany 7 day average 60 and Italy (still wearing face masks indoors) with a 7 day average of 39 (still falling) while we are on a 7 day average of 130 that is still rising

Looks like it's going to be a long long winter in dear old Blighty

A new study by the Yale School of Public Health has analyzed data on natural immunity to estimate how often unvaccinated individuals can expect to become reinfected with COVID-19.

The study determined that natural immunity is somewhat short, and in a model where everyone has either been infected with COVID-19 or vaccinated against it, those who are unvaccinated can expect to be reinfected with the coronavirus roughly every 16-17 months.

My sister caught it twice in 6 months. She hasn't been vaccinated. I don't think natural immunity is that great. Don't be like my sister.

What a gang of clueless, daft cunts.

I bet they actually believe that half of the shit they spouted is genuinely enforceable law and that the NHS are quaking in their boots. Whereas sane and rational thinking people just think that they're just a bunch of complete cunts.

    • If you obviously read this:  And here's the fact checking article : No evidence linking deaths among children to vaccine rollout   Why then did you think to post the original scaremongering bullshit?
    • Ok I never wanted to post this but seeing as so many of us are arguing with each other, we're now on the subject of vaccination deaths, and over the last few months things have escalated to people being fine with mandatory vaccines I'm going to.   I would never have posted this before for two reasons : I didn't want to cause fear about vaccines if the data was off, and I didn't have access to the underlying data. And I still don't, but recently a fact checking site which I'm going to assume some of you would consider reliable has confirmed the figures, even though it's been clear to point out that the cause of these deaths isn't clear.   So this fact checking site also provides balance for those of you that think I'm fear mongering.   The subject is child deaths since the vaccine was rolled out. Here's the article that made me concerned a while back : Deaths among male Children are 83% higher than the 5-year-average since they were given the Covid-19 Vaccine   Now if you can simply look at the data there it points to something that should be a concern. If you read all the text it's clearly blaming the vaccines, but if you want you can simply ignore every bit of text and look at the data provided in the images.   And here's the fact checking article : No evidence linking deaths among children to vaccine rollout   Here's the two quotes confirming the data :       Why didn't I look at the data myself? Simply because when checking the ONS site and trying to access it I get asked to open an .xlsx file (Microsoft Excel) and I can't open it. I figured that if this was really a concern others would post this later on anyway and I'd see it again, which I have done several times since. I never had anyone else confirming the data though.   The last thing that still stopped me posting it was this thought : what about kids that died from covid last year?   Then I found this :     Child mortality in England during the COVID-19 pandemic   And there's also this from the ONS where we do actually have some numbers posted because it's a response to an FOI request : How many children died from long Covid-19 in the UK
    • The Ballon D’or is a glorified piss up for all the UEFA free loaders and cronies, so it’s hardly surprising the results are flawed, if you’re not in the click you don’t stand a chance and, to be fair, Messi and Ronaldo have been standout players over the last 10 years, so no wonder they just keep giving it to either of them. Easy option.
