Too early for a Coronavirus positivity thread?

We contacted our neighbour who is over 70 and living alone, as her son is normally based in Austria, to see if we could do some shopping for her or help in any way. Turns out her son is working from Hungary during the crisis and looking after her. However he has a card for a wholesale shopping place similar to Makro in the U.K. that has huge amounts of stock and sells dirt cheap. So now our 70 plus neighbour is arranging to do some shopping for us

Turns out that the government telling shops etc to close won’t impact on their insurance as 99% of businesses wouldn’t be covered anyway.

For future reference please ensure you are covered for an unprecedented global pandemic caused by an unknown virus/biological-weapon/glitch in the matrix.

Just to point out, the head of the WHO didnt want to call this what it was, a pandemic, when it was staring him in the face for 4 weeks. And even them, he decided to play semantics with the word.

That piece of Scum only said it was one despite oviously being one once China got a hold of it.

NHS have cancelled all non-essential surgery.

Yes, just had a call to cancel daughters (14 years old) operation at Alder Hey, due next week.

She has a couple of teeth that have not come through and they planned to cut her gums, apparently the earlier it is done the more chance of reducing need for corrective surgery later. Wife is complaining because it is approx 18 months since we first went to the dentist, and daughter may now have no front teeth in the future ?

Apparently I don't care as my only surprise/concern was they didn't cancel operation sooner.

ITV London@itvlondon 29m
Gatwick Airport said it has terminated the employment of 200 staff as part of "decisive action to protect the business". It will also be closed to flights between midnight and 5.30am with immediate effect, except for emergency landings.

The airport's chief executive Stewart Wingate and his executive team will take a 20% salary cut and waive any bonus for the current financial year. 2/2

£260 million profit last year the fucking cunts.
