There was an article earlier saying that steps need to be taken now to make sure that this doesn't decimate those in refugee camps too.

With regard to self-isolating for 14 days, what are people supposed to do if they don’t have an adequate supply of food at home and have no one to go to the supermarket for them and can’t order online/book a delivery?

It's very British response from Boris. Just go out and buy food but limit exposure to people.

Plus it would only take the Government to spend some of the emergency money they have for such scenarios to have a plan in place that would be mutually beneficial for those suddenly out of work and in the need to earn and the vulnerable who need help.

There's quite a lot of local network support groups being established where healthy people are offering their time and services to local people who are in isolation.

I'm no fan of Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson but the amount of "how am I meant to drive a 10 ton truck from home" etc comments trouble me. 

 

The message was clearly one of "work from home, WHERE POSSIBLE."

 

A lot of what they've announced today seems lacking in detail though.
