This country is full of morons. No doubt she's the sort who shares those dodgy Facebook links for free cars

Something very similar happened in King's Hill, Kent - eventually the landlord who rented the hairdresser their base withdrew their consent to allow his premises to be used for business and he shut down.

Looked at her businesses Instagram page, in the comments there is advice from an actual lawyer. But some bloke who has read something on twitter has put him right.

I just don't see the point in slackening the rules for a few days that could lead to the deaths of older parents/grandparents etc, especially with a vaccine around the corner but as you say the government don't two fucks as long as the hospitals can cope.

I agree, I presume the thinking is that a lot of people will just ignore the rules at Christmas anyway, so they are trying to compromise. The three households rule would be a normal Christmas for most people?

Being in a crowd of 4000 in the vast majority of football grounds would be much safer than a visit to any supermarket.

Like I said, I'm in favour. I just think it's mental how the governments policy has flown all over the place.

Just tested positive for it. Been feeling like shit for a couple of days so booked a drive through test yesterday. They texted the results an hour ago. Bastard.

I've been feeling like shit too for a couple of days, was going to go for a test but realised it had perfectly coincided with me returning to the forum and it's that.

It probably depends on your family! My missus has 3 sisters and they all go to their mums, so that's 5 households ... But then that also means if I went with them for whatever reduced thing they work out, I can't go to see my mum for the whole of the 5 day Xmas period or even if i don't go, but my kids do, my kids can't come with me. Now her parents have effectively got to choose between which of her kids they see. It's fucking nonsense.

Worst deaths in Europe. One of the highest economic contractions in Europe.

Our government have fucked this up on every level. And they're still ahead in some polls. Madness.

And, a no deal Brexit is on the horizon. The Brexit cultists need to be put in their place and some leadership should be shown, with Brexit being postponed indefinitely.
