I'm sure Johnson's choice of language regarding a potential third wave in Europe "wash up on our shores" is no accident.  He's disgusting, as is our compliant media.  Nothing like stoking up further resentment and suspicion towards the trading block you've just left to (so far) disastrous effect.  Weeks of the media trumpeting about potential targeted lockdowns in Europe, like they're having a worse time than us, while this whole fucking country is in lockdown.

Simple fact appears to be that it's a case of us being a few weeks ahead on the vaccine. Look at our stats at the end of January, shocking, the worst.

Having said that, Europe does need to get a handle on this vaccine business if they are having as much trouble with it as reported, although reports in this country are not to be trusted.

Was just about to post more or less the exact same thing. He's fucking disgusting. trying to 'subtly' shift the blame on to immigrants for his own failures! The sad thing is that's exactly what his Brexit fan base will want to hear!

The 100% effective against severe illness is the magic one. Covid itself isn't what's brought the world to its knees, it's ICU/hospital admissions, if it nips that in the bud then we're golden.

Yes. The goal shouldn't be to eradicate covid as we almost certainly would need to remain in lockdown for about a decade. It should be to make this cunt virus like the common cold.

And the media has a responsibility to transmit this message rather than "Does AstraZeneca cause bad AIDS? We talk to 17 year old twitch streamer Pete Littlescrote to find out" every time a handful of people get a side effect. The media and cunts like Macron as well. Is it any surprise half of France doesn't want to take a vaccine when they're led by that miniature meff telling everyone some of them don't work.

Oh here we go. Another excuse for the tories to try and keep restrictions in place.

So much for "Looking at the data"

He wants to extend the lockdown laws so if he needs to lockdown again, he is able to do so without going back to parliament. Once we come out of this lockdown the Tory right will not play ball to let us go back and if it needs a vote then, they will try and scupper it. So while the virus is getting in full flow again, he is basically talking to his backbenchers and the brexit masses. Get behind me to save us from the Johnny foreigner plague. It's the only language they understand. He won't be able to have that conversation in September when we've hopefully had a few good months behind us, but it's still less than clear today what'll happen next in the vaccination roll out between now and then.

So you can now only travel abroad if you have a second home. Fucking hell tories going to tory.

5k fine which is nothing if you are loaded. Its just pricing poor people out. If youre going to prevent travel then prevent it don't leave it open for the privileged.

This was so obvious, there was a quote a weeknor so ago from one of them saying that the average person won't be going abroad this summer. This statement doesn't suggest a blanket ban.

Some exceptions: Doughty Street barrister Adam Wagner lists the reasonable excuses for being abroad: Work, volunteering, studying, elite sports, legal obligations, medical reasons, care and assistance to vulnerable person, wedding of a close family member. He notes “it doesn’t allow couples who live in different countries to meet, but does allow parents who live in different countries to travel for childcare.” The other main change is that organized socially distanced protests are now listed as an exception to the ban on outdoor gatherings.

I'm sure all the 'University of Life' knobs who were proudly displaying their YOLO summer holiday pics last year will be interested in a sabbatical there.

To be honest, you could justify going to Magaluf for 2 weeks on medical reasons with the justification you're going there to experiment with various chemicals.

I don't get this mindset at all, the idea that people are wrong to be pissed off at having their every basic freedom curtailed for over a year. Imagine!

The vast majority of the world have been able to go to pubs and restaurants as their government aren't a colossal fucking disaster.

Nothing quite like the British grumble about owt, but what's important and causing the real issue, mentality to completely miss the point as usual.

Peoples tempers are short, but their memories shorter.

Does it need to be a home you personally own, or can I accompany my fiancée and her family to one of the properties they own?

Bollocks mate. The same wankers crying about it and marching en masse are the same ones continuing to spread it. Everyone is pissed off and understandably but there is a harsh reality and selfish cunts just don't see the fucking obvious.

Or you could just stay at home and stop killing people. Just a thought.
