Interesting that they're coming out to your uncle, I wasn't given that option.

It would have been really helpful for me because the lockdown and having to shield has caused a real drop off in my mobility which was poor in the first place.

Still, at least I'm getting it and I'm grateful for that.

But I do feel uncomfortable that my missus isn't getting hers.

Take her along, she might get her jab out of convenience to them. Someone I know escorted their partner and they both got the jab although only one was scheduled.

Fed up?

I would have loved not having to go to school and in those days we had about 90 minutes of children’s television, no smartphones, tablets or internet.

Day after day, unable to leave the house? It's horrendous. Our ten year old has had to go back to school 3 days per week because he was just not able to get any work done at home, with me and my partner both working and looking after a very demanding 2 year old.

His mental health is markedly improved. He's much happier and more confident.

Try homeschooling and work. Oh and a very fed up child.

That's one of those good problems. Some people have no work or income. If a kid is fed up not being at school, they're doing it wrong.

It's very regimented at our Dr's surgery from what I've heard so that's probably not something likely to happen.

I'll mention it when I'm in there and see what they say, but because she works in a school, I don't think she'll be waiting too long anyway.

I have a 6 year old with potential ADHD/Autism challenges and a very demanding 2 year old as well. It's been a struggle but between me and the missus have got the majority of his work done. Because he (and my daughter) are the main focus. He broke down this morning because he's "fed up of lockdown and not seeing my friends or any of our family"

Sorry to sound like a cunt here, but come on, this sounds like a cop out. You make and manage the time for your children schooling, even if it is only an hour, he should be the priority to set time aside (I am not calling you a bad parent by the way, as I said just think this comes across as an easy cop out)

Grassing is Tory behaviour and that's what they want. Everybody to turn on each other so they can sneak out the front without anyone noticing.,

I agree mate. I'd have to say something to them myself. Or give them a fucking good hiding. I can't stand the selfish arrogant cunts.

I'm not sure what you are saying then to be honest.

I'm not going to get into justifying my parenting abilities on here. The option to send him to school is legitimately available, he's happier being in school, so we are happier. Also, his education is being better covered.

If you think we're doing something wrong, then fair play, you are entitled to hold an opinion.

I assume one of you is a key worker? In which case thems the rules. If he's happier as a result thats great.

Nobody likes a grass.

Not sure about this. If a vulnerable person goes to a chemist and catches Covid from them, you are in a position to help prevent that. We're trying to prvent the spread of a potentially deadly virus, not tell on mates indiscretions.

Grassing just doesn't sit well with me unless it is for actual murder and stuff.

I personally wouldn't feel comfortable grassing, I'd just say something myself to them but how is it not potentially murder?
