Whatever happened with that Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial as wasn't Depp suing The S*n and Wooton over wife beating allegations ?

I asked the wife about that last night , seems like it was months ago. How long does the judge need to have a think ?

He’s on C5 now. He’s transcended being a cunt, he needs a whole new word.  He’s used ‘remoaner’ and ‘triggered’ in the 5 mins I watched.

Hang on? He's a New Zealander isn't he? Can we not pop on a plane back to Hobbit land?

Obviously I hope Depp wins and sues the cunt and the rag for millions but reading the reports of that case the pair of them (Depp and Heard) need keeping at opposite ends of the planet from each other. Pair of absolute lunatics together who did each other some proper mental and physical damage. Depp has always seemed a bit unhinged anyway with a massive drink and drug habit. Throw a toxic blonde into that and fingers get chopped off and beds get shit in.

He was quite creepy as the celebrity guy on Lorraine and GMB , seemed odd have having a fat, unshaven middle-aged guy getting excited about Ariana Grande's new album and Billie Eilish' new hairstyle.

isn't that about where we'd expect it to be considering where the deaths are at that point? The 2nd wave of deaths hasn't arrived yet.

Well, the lack of early testing data makes it difficult to know, but the timelag between cases and deaths has either increased, or we're not seeing a second wave of deaths.

you know the answer to this don't you? we all do. we treat the disease better. people spend less time in hospital. less people end up in ICU. we have cut in half the number of deaths of the people that actually land in ICU, which was at 50% at one stage. So the number of deaths won't rise as quickly as before, that's clearly obvious because we are better at treating it. but if left unchecked, it will all go out of control and we will run out of beds. it is why the nation (well except yours!) is not in complete lockdown despite the number of hospitalisations in many part of the country reaching levels of the peak. and as we are heading into flu season, we effectively have less capacity than last time, as that spike came at the end of flu season. you know all of these things. i honestly think you are just here to troll.

seriously, what is your solution, just fuck it all off and see what happens?

Population growth is 1.5% so the death rate is basically accounted for. Some of this will of course be down to sanitising and social distancing etc. but hospital occupation is lower in many hospitals than it normally is at this time of year.

Wales had had 40 deaths of people with Covid in the last week. Case numbers are relatively flat, amd we're going into national lockdown. I'd question if this is a proportionate response.

I do accept that there is little capacity in the NHS at this time of year, which just shows what an irresponsible way we have been running our national health service.

Knowing people who work in GP surgeries they say they are talking to more and more people with no history of mental health problems, but now really struggling. We've created a disproportionate level of fear. The government has actively tried to create that, rather then just telling the truth.
