So how do you propose people will no longer be scared of the virus and go to their hospital spots etc? Should we just pretend it's not there?

Can they go to their hospitals appointments ? I've been waiting to see a neck and spine specialist since fuck knows when. Had a phone consultation a few weeks ago and was told I need to actually see someone in person. Two weeks after I got the appointment to see someone.  Only problem is, it's another phone consultation.

Tried to make an appointment with my doctor. Yes Mr Do'ins, that's no problem.  Oh did I mention Dr is only doing phone consultations.

So that's how you can analyse the spread of Covid. How can you compare that to the spread of a cold?

I presume flu is spreading faster, seen as it's killing ten times as many people as Covid is?

Well that's a different issue mate, I know for sure waiting lists are longer - but that's what happens if you don't invest in the NHS and care requirement increases, something is going to dropped - I'm not saying it's right, it's just obvious that we need more investment in the NHS. Spy bee was saying people are scared to go. I don't understand for those who are scared how we change that as there's been nothing but playing down the risk of the virus from the government for 3 months. They've gone into panic mode the last few days, but a week ago, they were still telling us it was safe out there.

Got a real bee in your bonnet haven't you fella? As I've said we will see where this goes but its all moving on as many thought it might.

Not really. I just find the blatant stupidity and nonsense spewed from the 5G/anti-vaxers lot depressing and inexplicable in equal measures

You made a statement that was factually incorrect. You calling someone else a dullard is like Jimmy Saville calling someone a creep.

I wasn't lying though was I. I was misinformed. The ONS link I posted basically says the same thing, so I think it's a pretty easy mistake to make. Questioning someone's integrity is a pretty shitty thing to be throwing around.

You're a fucking retard. Just because something exists and is significant, it cannot be hyped?

I'd much rather be called a name than be accused of being a lier.

I think you'll find it wasn't me that threw the first stone here as well, Stig.

*liar

You're actually bearing the 'liar' brunt of your other thick as fuck mate who has disappeared when he found himself up against it as per usual. Pair of fucking idiots.

I don't think Spysy is a liar.

He is willfully misinformed on a daily basis - that is different than lying.

Lets face it the thread has taken an upward turn now that the 5G conspiracists are in the house.

I don't think he's a liar either as it happens.

When Boris Johnson was questioned, he said, and I quote "Alas, the spread of the disease does tend to happen later at night..."

Fuck me. Hancock yesterday said he has proof that it only spreads during social situations. I'm starting to think this is all a huge wind up. Its getting more and more Monty Python by the day.

Yep, that's right, I'm thick as fuck, and clearly no match for your genius intellect.

Has been a great effort so far, but today came the bombshell...Isles of Scilly just had it's first ever covid-positive case.

The council announced it cryptically, with no details as to where or who or how, so the islands are now petrified.  People are fucking fuming at the council for the way it announced it.

The local GP found out about it from the council Facebook feed!  He wasn't informed by PHE, or the council.

And I need to go to the Coop (the only grocery shop, basically) for some fucking milk.  This means queuing for 20 minutes with other people staring at each other suspiciously....
