Part of Florida is in the South, but most of it is not.

Jacksonville, kinda. Pensacola, sure. But culturally, "the South" stops around Ocala or so, probably around 15% of the population of Florida.

Have you been to Arcadia?

Lots of incest, moonshine and banjo plucking going on there

Go 20 miles inland and it's a different country... deffo Deep South

What happened to these anti-body tests they were so excited about a few weeks ago?

Not worth a shite it seems. You only get long lasting antibodies if you've had it bad. A study came out last night (pre print) which showed that 80% of people were having T Cell Responses: https://t.co/EKXp4EZuXF?amp=1

Potentially great news, but nothing to do with antibodies.

Deaths slightly up today, but 7 day averages continue to fall.

Big spike in a food factory in South Wales today.

I'm not trusting these figures anymore. Cases are up around the world, spike in Leicester and figures are dropping? Conveniently they are also dropping since daily briefings have stopped.

Why would the cases going up in previously unaffected far away countries be relevant in the UK if most European countries are now registering a downward trend, over a longer period? In all countries closest to the UK cases are down.

The US has a blithering idiot at the helm, hundreds of thousands doing whatever they want, social distancing ignored and the numbers are racing up out of control.

Which one of these shows a picture that doesn't look right?

In most cases, when the epidemic is subsiding in neighbouring countries, similar trends are in place in the country with an idiot at the helm, and vice versa.

Yes and if his hotspot is just across your border, there is probably not much you can do.

Who are the UK neighbouring? Is it those pesky marine life spreading the virus to us?

France, Belgium, Netherlands and Ireland mainly. Plus is one of the biggest international airline hubs.

So presumably if flights can still come in from the countries, the numbers you would assume would go up. That must mean there are currently not many flights coming in to the UK from those countries, in which case I hope the numbers are reflective of the flight status?
