It’s not an excuse, but I do expect the reopening of parks to some extent tomorrow.

I doubt it. There is a theory that contagious illnesses tend to spread more in the cold as people are spending more time at home with their families after catching an illness while they are out working or socialising. In the summer people tend to be out more even when they are poorly as it's nice to be in the sun if you can cope with it when feeling under the weather. You're less likely to spread it in your house as you're obviously not there so much.

Unfortunately most of the general population just believe everything they are told or read in The S*n, or told on the TV. Unfortunately for me I happen to now live in Experimental Lab Rat No1, ie, The Isle of Wight.

Apparently, downloading an app on your phone gives you some sort of shield.

The Tards down here are taking absolutely no notice of the refrigerated containers being shipped in and stored next to the Crematorium,or the extra Bizzies and Troops quietly being bussed over.

Er surely a person in an open air park getting fresh air and maintaining a safe social distance is a very low risk to themselves and others, now a packed bus, tube, office, plane or any confined space is probably a different matter.

 

As for Europe, the response from the oh so saintly answer to all gods problems eu has once again left a lot to be desired.
