I'm no expert on this or any other subject, but the way that I read this whole situation is go home quietly, be sick, don't bother anyone, keep a stiff upper lip, and then die quietly. Probably wrong, but wouldn't be surprised if it's the case.

On an aside, why can't the NHS front line workers be issued with the standard Military issue General Service Respirators? Like I said, no expert but those things are full NBCD proof.

Just my penny's worth.

That Sunday Times report is utterly damning. Cheers for posting it Sugar Ape.

All sections of the media should be all over this as it's the biggest national scandal in decades, possibly ever. Instead most are offering up platitudes and swallowing the soundbites. It's been mentioned already but where are the 5-10 minute long special reports from the UK frontline, as we saw on Sky and the BBC in early March from Italy and Spain? Where are the reporters in full, military grade PPE? Where are the coffins, the images of rows of people fighting for their lives in ICUs? We're being hoodwinked.

The daily numbers alone don't adequately tell the horrific human cost of this, and the daily briefings are beyond the joke. Piers Morgan should be given free reign for all questions put to the three stooges, at least he has the bit between his teeth and doesn't let up when ministers try and fob him off with the absolute bollocks they come out with.

I hope there'll be a reckoning one day and the facts are widely disseminated, and the usual suspects stop arse-licking and hold these bastards to account.

The news on Johnson not bothering working weekends and missing Cobra meetings,. I was wondering who gave him the green light to act so lax.

Remember a few months ago when Corbyn called Johnson a ' part time prime minister' and asked where he was during the floods? Loads of thecthe media and some Labour mps replied back " Hes in number 10 where you put him"

Oh it was funny, ave that jezza " in number ten' ha we all chuckled. Boom boom, that told him. Although fast forward a few weeks and reading the coronavirus death toll takes a bit of gloss off the joke.

He was waiting for the implosion of the Tories and 15 years of socialist rule.  Wasn’t that your prediction?

Eh you might be in the wrong thread unless you just fancied scrawling a few random words not relevant to anything on a message board.

Anyway shouldn't you be scouring the internet from anti semitism or guarding synagogues on a Sunday morning? You seemed concerned yesterday or does your faux anti semitic outrage only come to the boil when it suits?
