1. You can’t point out the cheap masks don’t work. Because you’re telling people not to wear a mask even when you’re making the point they should wear an appropriate mask;

2. You can’t reference direct evidence of medical professionals - that’s hearsay and not the opinion of a medical professional (yeah, I’m still flummoxed by that as well)??!! And they clearly aren’t as well qualified in this matter as TK.

3. You can’t say that you think stocks of the appropriate level of protection should go to front line medical staff first - because you’re telling people not to wear masks - even though you’re not.

You can’t compete with this level of religious zeal. I had to put TK on ignore until this is over and I can go back to arguing over football.

1.  You can but it's not true.  Any mask > no mask;

2.  Professional people get things wrong, too.  That's why we have professional indemnity insurance, litigation and so on.  I'm not saying I'm well qualified, just making a case for something I passionately believe in and which is gaining massive momentum around the world;

3.  Every life is equal.  If masks are good enough for health professionals, they're good enough for ordinary people during a pandemic.

Feel free to ignore this post, you arrogant twat.

I was delivering up in the wilds of Wales today and the Doctors surgery wouldn't let me past their cordon before checking my temperature that's the 1st time that's happened I was impressed at the scale of the operation they were doing in it to be honest .

Phew! I was a bit concerned that the government didn't have a clue what they are doing, but I'm reassured now as they've said they will "ramp up" NHS TESTING soon.

The sheer detail in their response regarding numbers and dates makes me think that they MUST be on top of things.

And, they said we'll get through it together.

Ah, so it’s the NHS’s fault for the lack of testing, and not government incompetence....

Front line NHS staff are heroes. But anyone who's had to deal with NHS procurement knows it's a fucking joke at the best of times.

Yep, the bastards are insisting that the test results being accurate is more important than Boris saying a big number. Fucking unpatriotic commies

Tory austerity is now being shown for what it is. Costing peoples lives. They've decimated the NHS to the point where it cant cope and people are dying. I wonder how many of those deaths were preventable if the NHS has enough ventilators.  Only 8000 in the entire NHS.

David Cameron should be jailed for this.

Can we jail all the cunts who voted for it? 4 fucking times.

Yeah, I was ranting on a WhatsApp about that earlier. Dodged every single question. Horrible slippery cunts, I fucking hate these Tory twsts. The woman from the NHS was no better, some NHS management are as culpable as politicians in the deceit and mismanagement that surrounds all of this.

Here in the faroe islanda about 8% of the population has been tested, the government started the shut down the same time as denmark did  and we are seeing huge improvement now, it has done wonders the huge scale of testing and fast test results to get people into quarantine right away and stopping the spread.

How many corona virus patients are on ventilators in the UK now? Last figure I can find is about 600 in ICU 3 or 4 days ago, Worldometer keeps listing 163 critical, which seems outdated.

From the total number of cases, it is way too soon for people to be dying because the hospitals can't cope.

It says Faroe Islands had 173 cases on 50,000 people. How did you manage that?
