Countries should ban all flights too and from Japan long term if they're not taking measures seriously because theyre so desperate to host the Olympics

Countries won’t be able to complete their qualifiers though. Ours are on hold. I just don’t see how it goes ahead.

If they manage to clear this up with schools open it'll be a miracle I think, they mind even change their minds once April arrives and keep them closed if cases keep rising.

Sorry meant might not mind. Don't think there's any chance of olympics happening either.

What the fuck were the Chinese government thinking trying to cover this up at the beginning? Fuckers actually came out saying the virus isnt transferable from humans to humans while silencing doctors in their country who tried to warn the rest of the world.

When this eventually settles down some series questions need to be asked and they need to be held accountable.  They also came out recently trying to blame the Americans for releasing it ffs.

Chernobyl was the begging of the end of the Soviet Union and hopefully this turns out to be the same for the Chinese communist government.

Seriously dude, it’s time to drop the faux fucking xenophobia, Ty his shit is going to happen more and more, food sources are scarce in developing worlds, we don’t all live to the same standards. Globalisation which has benefitted the west and those of us who have taken the opportunity to travel this little fucking rock, which is now kicking back.

take your anger out on the politicians and business types who are going to stand by and watch ordinary people utterly fucking perish after the austerity they chose to inflict.

That's some view mate.

It certainly is, we’re pretty lucky as we picked this place up, right after getting lashed out of our last place, and moved in about 3 weeks after my op.

saw the view and went yeah, let’s have some of that.

other people are lucky enough to have kids, we don’t, so we don’t buy we rent, as we have no-one to leave anything to, and we get back home as often as we can to see her folks and my mates.

Surroundings are important for well being, I couldn't live in a high rise flat or an estate but obviously if needs must then you do. I'd rather have your view than the one I was greeted with this morning. Looking out at the garden, birds chirping and the serenity of it all and my fat neighbour showing her crack as she was bent over.

I'm sorry but criticizing the Chinese government is not the same as being xenophobic or racist. It's quite clear now they covered this up as much as they possibly could instead of admitted it was spiraling and either asking for help or giving the rest of the world and the rest of their own nation the ability to plan ahead. All of these worldwide measures would've been far more effective had they happened a month or so earlier. Instead of it being about containment it's now an exercise in mitigation. I do understand the logic, as there are plenty of cunts out there who will blame anyone who slightly resembles a chinese person for this disease. I hate to break it to you, but those people would've been there anyway. Instead now the majority of the world is on lockdown rather than it being able to be contained in one part of the world and perhaps getting multiple nations on board to solve the problem there instead of everywhere having to worry about their own skin. I don't give a fuck what the Chinese eat or what their open air markets have in stock, but when a problem of this potential magnitude is discovered and the government effectively punishes the people who speak out about it there's a problem.

I wasn't alive when Chernobyl happened, and I'm sure others blamed the Russian people as much as they blamed the government they lived under. That would be wrong, but it's equally wrong to not point out that the government was the problem in both instances. Chernobyl effectively shitcanned an actual viable alternative to oil as far as energy goes all because the Soviet Union was afraid of being wrong and looking weak.

I don't understand this post at all. Someone criticises the Chinese government for a blatant cover up and it's the politicians and businesses that are to blame? I don't see the logic there at all.

I don't think there's any way the Olympics go ahead. I've been telling all my friends here in California, this is the new normal for quite a while. Might as well get used to it, they might eventually relieve the "safer at home" order but even so going to the bar, sitting in restaurants for dinner, hooking up with random cunts on tinder et al, that's all over for now unless you find someone willing to take the risk with you.

The was a single seater plane flying over us yesterday.  FB groups went into meltdown as it was either the Army looking for places to put roadblocks, Google making sure people weren’t out or a test for total isolation.

Turns out it was a bloke from Romiley on a sightseeing trip his wife got him for his birthday. He even posted pictures.  Wasn’t good enough for some.

Clearly him posting pictures was all just to cover up what they are actually doing.

Oh the bloody Chinese and the cover ups, what bunch of dodgy foreign bastards.

yet the professionals from the WHO have said the Chinese have been up front about numbers, pandemic specialists from the UK and USA who have been working over there since the SARS 1 crisis, they are saying the Chinese are being open about numbers.

cover up is currently coming from the leaders of <drum roll please> the good old USA and UK.

they are going to inflict more harm and damage on your countries than the Chinese.

the Chinese locked their cities down, which is why they can see a light at the end of the tunnel.

all the uk and us can see is the same as those in Italy and other places that didn’t fucking bother, and it’s a fucking big train of death.

This is the world we live in, scientists have been warning about global pandemics for 20 years, yet health services have been continually cut in the so called free world.
