There's got to reach a point where people have stockpiled that much stuff that they don't need to buy anymore, therefore allowing the rest of society to be able to buy a 6 pack of Andrex.

However, I see the accumulation of bog roll could get into people's heads like money does to rich people. They don't need any more but they want as much as they can logistically handle.

Yep. Again, it's really insidious. We've always got a 9 pack stored under the stairs and a roll or two in each of the bathrooms/ downstairs toilet, and I was still tempted to get another pack this morning, even though I know we've easily got a fortnight's supply.

(Conservative) Islam will be the saviour in the bog roll crisis.

Panic buying is normal, I did my weekly shopping yesterday and bought twice as much, first, you don't trust other people not to go crazy so you go crazy. Also, I figure it's actually a good idea that everyone can go on for about 3 weeks without going to the shops, in case you have to self-isolate, if there are supply-chain disruptions plus you reduce the number of social contacts.

I suppose once everyone has a little stockpile the shelves won't be emptying that quickly so it would go back to mostly normal.

Where would we be if drunk ex-squaddies didn't try to lecture people who graduated with a degree in ecology at the age of 20 about science, eh.

Stronts, this is you at yer most cunty dude. Johnson has a degree, he’s still an utter fucking wanker. One of the most erudite people I have known was kicked out of school, and a furniture porter, you can specialise in one subject and still be an absolute fucking idiot in the next, life is not about point scoring this way.

You know I wouldn't normally pull out my credentials but I don't exactly take kindly to being on the receiving end of a load of invective. I genuinely think some here think I wake up in the morning with the attitude: who can I wind up on the internet today? As if it's totally beyond their comprehension that I may honestly have a slightly different outlook to them.

Morrison's was absolute carnage this morning, loads of empty shelves, no pasta or rice, biscuits down to a few packets, frozen aisle really sparse. Hopefully it'll get a little better from now on, there's going to be an awful lot of people sitting around looking at their piles of stuff and wondering what the fuck they're going to do with it all.

Harvest festival the pensioners will be fucking made up... ah, shit yeah, fuck knows what they will do with it.

No, I seriously want to meet up with him, but we all know he hasn't got the balls. Pity, I could show him all the decent places to visit in Berlin.

Are you mad?  Why would I want to spend any time with you?  I really don’t like you so why ruin a holiday?

if you want to meet for 5 mins for you to ask me if I am happy to say that to your face then fine.  I think it’s fucking mental and quite worrying for a bloke who keeps saying ‘it’s only the internet’.  But go for your life.

Just been to get a ready meal for my lunch. A Sikh family were in on the next till going through single file with the maximum 2 packs of bog roll each. They were then challenged and denied knowing each other. Then they said it says " two per person" imagine spending Saturday morning arguing with an Iceland manager because you wanna swipe a few more toilet rolls.

" no we dont know each other despite 5/6 wearing a turban and spending half an hour chatting"
