Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has promised his side will compete for every ball.

He said: "We have to play, we are going to face a fantastic team and manager and players, and all these things motivate us so we have to focus on ourselves, on how we want to do things.

"And we must compete, I insist, the word is compete and when you compete you don't give up on anything, every ball is important."

"The confidence is here because of the way we do things. It is not about who you face or all these things. There is no such thing.

"The confidence is because we believe in ourselves, we trust the way we do things and we want to play knowing the game has numerous ways to be played, and numerous situations that can happen and it is how you react and how you give solutions to the problems that are caused to you."

This Wolves side may just be the most overrated in the history of football. Except for my guy Adama, of course.

I’m kind of with this. The only way that Wolves get a result is if we are sub standard as there’s not a team in the world that will live with us if we are at our best. How Wolves play will not matter if we are at the top of our game. They would not get a choice in how the game finishes.

Did joe cole really just say in that BT piece Liverpool will have trouble holding onto their star players in the summer with the players banging on the manager's door and bigger clubs coming in for them?!?! What the fuck is he drinking!?

Yes he did.

Madrid and Barca will be sniffing about but we are now in a position to tell them and anyone else to fuck off.
