My cousin fought gomez at amateur, he reckons the ref stopped it early when he was fine, said he's a sound lad

He always came across as a bit of a maniac. Probably one of those lads that's sound as long as he likes you, I wouldn't have liked him as an enemy.

Just seen Amir Khan on BBC Breakfast, distributing food round his neighbourhood and training at home with his little kids.

Cute as fuck.

He's not bad looking but i wouldn't say he's cute

Brilliant , unfortunately you cant encapsulate in one small square the sheer entertainment afforded by Jim steadfastly maintaining the wrong boxer is ahead despite all evidence to the contrary.

I am old enough to actually remember Jim's big boxing nights and particularly go back to him being given an absolute boxing lesson by an Irish lad, Charlie Nash. Luckily for Jim the rules were slightly different at Ibrox and just blatantly butting someone straight in the face was par for the course.

Love Big George, was awesome at his best.Mad how he has more stamina on his comeback (i know he didn't expand as much)

He switched trainers after losing to Ali and think he suffered from being in two minds whether to steamroller people or maintain stamina. He hardly tried against Jimmy Young until the middle of the fight.

Think that fight was fought at high altitude and he didn't acclimatise properly for it either
