I think Canelo on points or stoppage around the 10th round. Smith will bring it though. I think he raises or lowers his level to the standard of his opponents.

 

But he fights small and leans over a bit, negating his size advantage. Canelo is an animal with his body punching. This will be the key to the fight, imo. But, if Smith lands a left hook, he can hurt Canelo.

The pandemic throws things in the air. Everyone is out of practice - both guys out of the ring for 13 months, now.

 

Canelo's best chance to beat Smith is to get him reaching, get him bending; if he does that, he can slip and slide all night long, bang him with that uppercut and murder that body. If Gallagher is any kind of tactician, he'll tell Smith not to do that. He'd tell him to use the reach, jab and keep him circling him. Make Canelo press the fight. 

 

As it is impossible to beat Canelo on points - for reasons that we've all discussed at length - and he has a rock solid beard, I think he'll win a 8-4 decision in a very good fight.
