Huge favourite tonight, Gorman. 1/6 or something.

Just heard he's only 24 as well. Paper rounds in Chernobyl and Kabul.

Probably for the best he left Ricky Hatton, hardly the role model needed for a bloke that struggles with his weight.

Obviously it's not a body building competition, but you've got to think that just the discipline alone of swerving the ale and burgers for a few weeks would be beneficial. Especially as he's fighting on the back foot here, he isn't leaning on Lartey.

I've noticed with a fair few of the traveller boxers that they lack discipline. They start boxing when they are in nappies, so the art form is second nature which can lead to nonchalance with the other aspects such as diet.

Yes, and to be fair you can see that class in the likes of Fury, BJS, etc.

Anyone watching this domestic card?

They need to stop this Joe Laws fight. He’s fucked. It’s horrible.

Edit - it’s over. Grim that. He was staggering and stumbling loads for a while. Balance had gone. Hope he’s ok.

Yeah. Eddie Hearn quickly lobbed the ref a grand to give him a little break there 30 seconds before he was sparked as well.

Fucking atrocious hype job, and put in an unsafe position because of it.

Was massively exposed there. Felt bad for him.

As that Rylan said after - the best ticket sellers aren’t the best boxers. He looked pretty decent to me like. Joe Laws on the other hand was really bad. Didn’t tee anything up, just chucked hopeful loaded pot shots.

Yes, Charlton looked solid. Nothing particularly flashy but picked his shots well and can clearly bang for Welterweight.

Laws looked like he was beaked up having a fight outside a pub.

I think Ritson will lose his on points too. Not seen anything since the Patera  defeat that suggests he’s developed any ring IQ. He’s obviously durable, but that purple patch of stoppages at domestic level defo made more of his power than it actually is. He’s also banging on about Prograis and looking beyond Vazquez. I think he could struggle against a tricky, tough spoiler.
