I know this song isn't from the Seventies but Bootsie Collins was definitely, what on earth happened to him when he could collaborate on tracks like this?

It is ace so why doesn't Bootsie get involved in tracks now? I would have thought when Niles Rodgers made a comeback, Bootsie would have poked him in the eye and said this is my house.

Ah right, I get you.

 

Not sure what Bootsy gets up to these days other than being a cool, funky bastard. He could've retired in 1972 & still been a legend.

One of the best bass players, never really mentioned like Flea and even Mark King.

Edit: I've heard that track but weirdly the bassline sounds slightly different on the Deee-Lite track. Maybe the effect of all the other sounds around it.
