Nah, the one that got relegated to Division 2 in 1974 beats it hands down. They almost got relegated in the 68 -69 season when they were defending the European Cup as well.

After Sir Matt Busby retired, they were pretty shit through the 70s and 80s. They had managerial greats like Frank O Farrell who previously had manageed Torquay! Its only since Ferguson won them their first league title in 27 years that they've been thought of as being 'good.'

Since ferguson retired, its gone shit again. But we shouldnt be surprised, they went shit for a season when he announced he'd be retiring at the endof the season only to change his mind when he saw first hand just how quickly it would collapse.

Busby managed them for 24 years and Ferguson for 26.5 years. Outside of those 50 years of their 142 year history they have won 2 leagues, 5 FA cups, 1 Europa league and 1 league cup. They have had 2 excellent long-term managers who brought them a lot of success but in the other 92 years they are Tottenham or Wolves in terms of honours.

Just for perspective. Leaving aside our era from Shankly to Kenny, during the other 97 years the club has still won 5 leagues, 3 FA cups, 4 league cups, 2 champions leagues, 1 UEFA cup. We are definitely more consistent and have won bigger trophies outside of the golden eras.

I understand clubs will win a lot of their trophies in successful eras but theirs is sparse enough given their size.

Obviously a bit of a wind up but maybe this is normal for them.

Yeah, unfortunately that 50 years of Busby/Ferguson counts.

They play on Wednesday night too.

Work them down for 60 minutes and then bang 40 goals in the remaining 30.

They need to win that game to stay in the FA cup as it is the only realistic chance of a trophy for them. They might get far in the Europa but a team dropping down from the Champions league should beat them.

Wolves are a physical team who will hopefully tire them out. Extra time and pens would be nice too.

I think yesterdays game was a perfect dress rehearsal for what is to come against the Mancs as OGS will play the exact same tactics as Mourinho. We're at home though, so I'm quietly confident we'll brush them aside. I want us to batter the cunts mind.

Good thing is Taylor reffed the mancs yesterday and Atkinson ourselves, so neither of them two can officiate this game. Hopefully we get Michael Oliver and not that cunt Kevin Friend.

Surely it will be Oliver or Friend. We'll find out tomorrow or later this evening. Atkinson, Taylor and Dean are definite no no's. Don't be surprised to see Atkinson down on VAR though.

Just realised these fuckers have their replay in the F.A. Cup against Wolves midweek. Solksjaer is desperate to win a trophy so I bet he plays a strong team, hopefully Wolves kick the fuck out of them and knock them out.

Is that right? He will play the first team I agree, Connor Coady could batter ...er one ...of their good players so they’re injured for our game ( can’t think of any at the moment)

As I said above, Solksjaer's plan will just be a mirror image of Mourinho's yesterday. A hard game against Wolves and a few knocks would slow their runners like Rashford/Martial down and make things a lot easier. I'm confident we'll win whatever the scenario though, plus the large cushion we have at the top puts the pressure squarely on City's shoulders and not ours. These players won the CL last year so I can't see them choking, they've jumped that pressure hurdle and it will stand them in good stead.

OGS is incapable of organising that team in the way Mourinho did with Spurs yesterday. They will come forward when they can and get caught on the break. My only worry is Rashford; he's a top player and capable of scoring some great individual goals.

He'll be knackered if he plays the whole 90 against Wolves off the back of the busy period.

solskjaer getting his excuses in early. They have a team as young as the one we put out against everton in the cup so that explains their indifferent result. Fucking gimp, he just needs a latex suit to complete his persona.

Yeah, he fails to mention the multi millions he splashed on these players and the fact many of them have a few seasons of top flight football under their belt. He's just a wanker who is shitting himself about bombing at the club he loves so grasps at any straw the media and fans will swallow.

Really want us to bum these dead hard.

Never ever forget what these horrible bastards have been like for about 20 years of winning everything....time to rub their fucking noses in it good and proper.

20 fucking years of those horrible manc bastards lording it over everybody...

Mocking us, rubbing our noses in it.

All the media kissing their arses.

Referees favouring them.

All the last minute winners they got.

Trophy after trophy after trophy.

The smug horrible bastards winning everything.

Now they are literally shite, their dynasty over and a club in dire straits....and it is time for us to kick them and kick them hard whilst they are down.

Have no sympathy for them, don't even look at them and shrug and call them irrelevant - enjoy every moment of their decline, and hopefully it will last and last and get worse and worse for them.

Enjoy watching the horrible fucking rats suffer.
