The rules and practice surrounding offside are absolutely terrible now but in terms of those rules the offside was correct.

If offside under VAR is currently too fussy, then the offside rule needs to be tweaked for next season. As it currently stands, these decisions are correct.

There's no chance of them changing the law to you're only offside if there's a five cm gap.  Seems to be the main crying point on it. 

 

To think last year, we'd be going in one nil down having a perfectly good goal ruled out,  with everyone crying about bent referees are ruining the game.
