Horrible offside decision to be fair and I've been consistent of my criticism of the way offside is done.

For me the only way to sort it out is let the linesman make the decision and for stuff that tight let the onfield decision stand and only get VAR involved if the linesman has missed a pretty obvious offside.

In principle agree but how do you define "obvious".  It goes round in circles when it's a subjective definition .

So how much of a gap do you want offside set by since such a black abs white issue is apparently a mess.

It doesn't matter if it's a mm,  offside is offside, people will just have to get used to that.

Yep. I see that Mane’s disallowed goal against Watford is being ignored by the conspiracy crew.

If offside under VAR is currently too fussy, then the offside rule needs to be tweaked for next season. As it currently stands, these decisions are correct.

State of this conversation. Manc Taylor tried his best to blow that whistle before the ball was in the net. Bent cunt. Off the shoulder 100% goal

second decision is offside by the current metric. It’s bullshit but all teams are treated the exact same

This

It is bullshit but we had a Firmino goal against Villa and Mane v Watford which the way the games went could have hurt us massively.

Until they change it those the rules

That's if you accept the equipment is accurate enough. Plenty don't

There's no chance of them changing the law to you're only offside if there's a five cm gap.  Seems to be the main crying point on it.

To think last year, we'd be going in one nil down having a perfectly good goal ruled out,  with everyone crying about bent referees are ruining the game.
