I don't think this ref is bent, just incompetent. He gave the penalty and VAR review it was close, but definitely a foul so where the fuck was the free kick? Totally dominated the last 30 minutes and these lot look knackered. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to hold on for pens now and we bum them 2-0 in extra time.

I don’t see how you can fuck up as much as he has if you’re merely incompetent. Most likely he always intended to take the penalty away and ‘gave’ it to provide a bit of cover.
