The BBC don't understand how to produce footie shows. They're still living in a 1970's 'match of the day' bubble.

Tonight's show finished too early. With too little post-match content.

It's not just about the game. We want to see the post-match handshakes. See some interviews. take in the atmosphere.

The final kicks off at 17:30. They're show finishes at 19:30. Piss poor.

Shoddy.

Think yer chatting rubbish fella. Anyway, Jurgen aint dumping him so whateva.

I don't think he was particularly bad either

He had to cover for Henderson, also Milner who had a pretty shite game to.

The only real mistake he made was misjudging that long ball but he made a good tactical foul.

Our midfield was appallie, besides keita. Both chamberlain and especially lallana where terrible. No cover what so ever

They like Salah.

TBF they liked us as a team, obviously Salah has a huge influence on their support but both Mane and Bobby got great receptions when coming on and touching the ball.

And yet it would have had to carry on for about an hour  if it had gone to extra time and pens . But they can't overlap to dissect the match and hear from Jurgen

Great result considering we lined out without seven almost certain starters in TAA, VVD, Matip, Fabinho, Gini, Sadio and Bobby.

Keita and Mo were fantastic, and Trent and Bobby made all the difference in the end.

Jurgen wasn’t bullshitting when he said everyone would get their chance in December, and they’ve all played important roles as we roll on.

And yet another injury time winner. What a remarkable group of players.

I was particularly happy with Keita's performance. Those late runs into the box were well timed and clever. His form when played of late is very encouraging.

All's well that ends well & didn't think Monterrey or the ref were as bad as the comments on here made out.

Heard Warnock being criticised but he's a breath of fresh air compared to most analysts & thought Harry Kewell made some good points ( Glenn was ok but looked like he had some kind of eye complaint )

He does a segment on Monday mornings on Sky. Every week Rob Wotton says to him ‘Steven’s happy again’ cuts to him and he’s grinning like a loon. He’s a true Red

There was a good podcast with him recently on the Echo Blood Red show. Wasn't happy with how his lfc career ended though.

Him and Mo work well together.

Indeed, lovely link up play at times and it brought out the best in both of them. Gives Jürgen options going into the busy period and certainly looks like weapon we can use against teams defending deep, probably something Klopp and the players have been working on at Melwood.

Yeah, good call. As much as I’ve enjoyed them sticking it to Real and Barce at times, they’re generally coached to be a horrible shower.

It's how they've managed to compete with them, to be fair.

The reason they've been shite this season is because they're unsuccessfully attempting to transition away from it.

That Felix kid is shite.

Wait until they get a dose of El Burro.

I usually turn off at the final whistle. Always assume it's just a matter of dedicated sports channels needing to fill a schedule.

Monterrey are terrible. 8th in Liga MX with a goal difference of 4. Odds were massively in their favour in this game.

Doesn't matter - all these Americas teams treat these game as it is billed a "world cup".  Flamingoes will be going all out on Saturday to kick the shit out of us and win the game.

"all the gear, no idea"
