The New Leader of the Labour Party

Is Lavery's dodgy trousering of £165,000 from union benevolent funds consistent with the "For the many, not the few" schtick? Say what you will about Corbyn, but I couldn't imagine him doing something like that, and I can't imagine a lot of Corbyn's supporters being too thrilled about it either.

On a slight tangent Gisele Stuart has been allowed to keep her Labour Party membership even though she campaigned with BoJo in the election. Whilst Campbell got booted for saying people should vote Lib Dem.

Obviously the Left has a bigger issue with New Labour Blairites than the Tories. Will any prospective leader sort this shit out or we just going to carry on with this nonsensical situation?

Might be because nobody has heard of gisele Stewart while the war criminal Campbell was front page news and it was during a mad election cycle.

As for the rest of it, you’re chatting shit, for a change. Oh, and fuck off with the bojo stuff, he’s not the lead singer for U2

And if he did somehow manage to win they’d just play this on repeat and  - whether you agree with him or not - the antisemitism claims would just roll on and on.

Yeah they'd have an absolute field day with that, have been thinking the same.

Rebecca Long Bailey, a supposed left winger, must be one of the thickest politicians around. I remember her when she first got over-promoted, saying, 'Erm, I like to think of socialism as caring capitalism'. And I like to think of it properly, you cloth-eared, feather-brained buffoon. Unbelievable that dullards like these are now in contention for the leadership.

If that is what you think then at least have the courage of your convictions and don’t lie and say you didn’t say it and it’s not what you believe. He’s an absolutely terrible performer for live interviews, utterly baffling that he gets rolled out so often.

That was always what made the ridiculous strategy of standing Corbyn down before the election such a boneheaded proposal. There’s literally nobody of any talent in that party, who is also of the left tradition, who has no skeletons and is ready made to take over

Labour really needs somebody that understands that these things aren't just throw-away things that nobody cares about, they are a visual representation of the party and that he makes them look like a joke.

You’ve never made a throwaway comment like that, Moof? Are you the world’s best feminist?

12 is a generous estimate. I’ll not say anymore in case we have a daily mail/guido fawkes informant (not looking at anyone in particular, a red) in our midsts and it becomes a national scandal.

Anyway, back to the point. Yes I’m calling him a prick. A baldy prick at that. But seriously, if he has a reasonable answer for the misogyny/groping/troubling-comments-on-the-me-too-mvmt then I’ll gladly listen to them.

Honestly I can’t think of one decent candidate. Keirsy is probably among the best but I have some serious doubts about him, particularly abstaining on the welfare bill, his “people’s vote” bullshit, his resignation and role in the PLP coup and his career as sir prosecutor. Actually, given that stuff maybe clivesy is a better bet.

tldr: fuck knows, burn it all down

Political Zionism is absolutely the enemy of peace. Not a controversial opinion

Agreed, right wingers and centrists will go mad with something like that though as usual.
