I’m still fucking fuming from the Napoli game. FUCK!

All out attack. 4-2-3-1. We push right up, give Gomez a run at CB for his recovery pace, also because I feel sorry for him a bit.

Alisson

Trent

Gomez

Van Dijk

Roberson

Henderson

Gini

Shaqiri

Firmino

Mane

Salah

Work-rate. Incision. Nous.

I don't ask for much.

Don't let's assume we just have to turn up to bag the 3 points because it isn't as simple as that. The effort from the players is there in every game. We just need to convert it into a comfortable afternoon where we rack up the goals early instead of only just eking out the victory through the Mentality Monster Effect.

I probably would play 4-2-3-1. Maybe I need some perspective but the performances don't feel good to me. I think a bit of a shakeup could do us some good.

Yeah cheers kid. I'm glad Jurgen doesn't read this forum and even more glad that if he did he wouldn't listen to a thing you say.

I agree with him. Give 4-2-3-1 a go. I’d like to see Shaq again.

I tend to believe Klopp does read the forum, and all the things he picks up here is the main reason behind his success.

I don't expect Klopp to do what I wrote, I just said what I would do in his place. This is a usual thing to do on a football forum, old man.

I hope everyone has a lovely day and don’t make too much noise or stand on my club shop bags.

    • We won't be signing in the summer, they're already at it in the press saying about the players contracts and we're concerned of the impact of covid. it'll be dressed up getting a couple of the players to sign new contracts as a win. the only way money will go out of the door this summer is if they flog off one of the stars. It'll be covid, no CL/reduced TV for being shit/paying for the training ground/paying for more pictures of the annie road/the price of traffic cones for the annie road car park. These cunts have been running the club on a shoestring since they got here. Klopp has come in and given us all a great time, but as I said on another thread - he's not fucking Jesus, he's not turning water to wine whenever he wants. Miracles won't go on forever. We made a great leap forward as a team when we bought 2 absolutely top class players (which was financed by selling 1 top class player). The way to progress is easy to see. But while money isn't flowing down from Madrid and Barca, our investment model is fucked unless we start selling to City again.
    • Been saying it for some time, far too often we've had the look of trying to walk the ball into the net, only trying to score from 12 yards or less or by nice intricate movement in the box.   I remember a city game, not sure who it was against, but in the first few minutes the ball came to Mahrez at an angle in the box. He just smashed it at the goal and it flew in. I said at the time if that had been us, the ball would have either been lofted hopefully into the middle of the box or crossed and pulled back to around the penalty spot. That's what we should have been doing against West Brom, taking a few digs at goal and others instead of the pass, pass, pass, pass.   Retaining possession is great and important but you need to stretch teams who just want to sit deep. You've also got to move the ball quickly and accurately. Taking a few shots is also a good idea.
    • Klopp broke our drought.  And did it big big style. I'm pretty certain he's not in it for the dynasty.
    • I remember being at the gym checking our progress on the Palace match thread on here, and coming away thinking that we've asserted our authority at the top of the pile again and, with the run of games we had coming up over Christmas and new year, we should put some distance between us and the pretenders. Fair to say things haven't quite worked out like that.   Yes, we're short in defence, which has meant pulling midfielders back, in turn weakening our midfield, but what I find the most puzzling is the complete lack of form from all the front three. The service might not be all it could be, but we can't score a fucking goal for love nor money, and this from the much-lauded most feared forward line in Europe over the past two or three seasons. We're basically at the point the point where we're (well, me at any rate) waiting and hoping for the guy signed as the fourth choice/rotation option to save our season - which at this point means making top four.   Bleak times indeed.
