The contenders. We need to coalesce the Liverpool vote around KJT to avoid that little thug getting it.

Sterling ?  He has the personality of a rattlesnake with shithouse dog AIDS.  What the fuck's he doing in that list ?

Are these uppity cunts even aware of his unprovoked assault on Joe ?

I couldn't give a shit who wins the fucking thing - as long as it's not that little prick.

The award might have 'personality' in the title but it has fuck all to do with personality. It's always about the most high-profile win for England and English sportspeople (unless a Welshman or a Scot does well in something, in which case it becomes an award for a British sportsperson). Zara Phillips won it a few years ago for getting her horse to dance and she seems to have all the personality of a cardboard box.

Of the nominees, it will probably be Stokes, KJT and Asher-Smith in that order. Stokes played a massive part in England winning the cricket World Cup as well as being one of England's few plus points during the Ashes, where his display at Headingley has gone down as one of the greatest innings ever. KJT finally won a major gold in the heptathlon and set a record points total for a British athlete. Asher-Smith won not one but two World golds. Nobody outside of Wales remembers them winning the Six Nations so I doubt Jones will get enough votes. Hamilton's F1 title win is nothing new and he's won this award previously. Sterling might have got in the top three after an excellent year on the pitch, until his wannabe hard man act against Gomez.
