smart bulbs

Looking for a couple of led bulbs for the kids , must be iphone operated via an app or suchlike and bayonet fitting if anyone has any clues

It's pretty good, only has 2 colours mind but it's easy to operate via a phone and importantly for me, it's dimmable - can make it as bright or dim as I want just by tapping my phone. No need to faf about replacing your light switches with the dimmable variety with these smart bulbs.

A lot of newer smart devices (Alexa, Google home etc) have a bridge built in, so may not need it, which would make them cheaper.

 

I would definitely advise waiting until closer to Black Friday (29th November) as these (and other LEDs) are always heavily discounted.

The strips for behind the TV do they sync with what's on tv automatically or do you have to connect them to a PC or laptop and stream from the lap top to the TV?

I've ordered the light bars for behind the TV, a bridge separately and a screw bulb. All my light fittings are different around the house so I'll do the whole house bit by bit. Be nice if the lights synced with the TV but it seems it only works via a pc/laptop.
