Yep. It’s brilliant. It shows you what could’ve been done with the films. Still, at least they’re getting the Star Wars universe into gear at last. And I fucking love Michael Biehn, too. Wish he was in far more stuff like this.

Love Ahsoka Tano.

She is one of my favourite characters in the Star Wars universe. Was very sceptical about wether they could bring her to life. Can’t argue with anything about Dawson’s performance as her. Even the holding of the lightsabers was bang on.

And as Jules pointed out about that name shout, it certainly made me sit up and take notice. That would be an amazing appearance if it happens.

I’m hoping that if ‘he’ does make an appearance the Jedi that Grogu reaches out to is the same one who went with ‘him’ into the abyss at the end of Rebels.

And yes, if only Dave Filoni had been involved in the sequels. The possibilities would’ve been endless and far more satisfying than what we got.

I enjoyed this too

As someone who doesn't mind Force Awakens and Last Jedi, it does make me quite annoyed that they exist now we're seeing the Mandalorian explore a post-Empire world. Because we know this world has to lead to the awful First Order and the waste of Luke Skywalker.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, though I'm sure many would've argued the case before 2015, but Filoni with a more neutral guiding hand would've been the best option for looking after the franchise. This world being explored post-Jedi is an interesting, fractured place compared to the re-run that Force Awakens did.

So yeah, Mandalorian is great but it's a shame the sequel trilogy exists because they did not jive with Mando's universe at all.

I agree with that.

I’m excited about which Jedi turns up but at the same time I hope it’s Ezra and not Luke, as Luke would surely mean nods to Kylo and in turn Snoke/Palpertine...etc and that whole mess.

It’s worked very much doing its own thing up to this point.

Sure Dave Filoni will be able to expand on the Clone Wars/Rebels worlds a lot better than if they went down the Luke/First Order route.

Disney have somewhat excelled (Rogue One, the Madalorian, Rebels..etc) away from the Skywalker story and I hope that continues.

It started off as a story about the criminal underworld and I hope it’s slowly not turning into a story about the Jedi as the former format worked well.
