I know you are meant to have certain condiments with certain meats but I personally have Horseradish on all roasts.

I can't stand Mint Sauce. It is disgusting and why would you want to ruin a gorgeous piece of Lamb with it? I know people who smoother their roast dinner with it. Horrors.

It's between mint sauce and cranberry sauce. Both do wondrous things when mixed in with your gravy.

I'll tell you what the answer is not, and that's bread sauce. Tastes of fuck all and looks like baby sick. What in the name of hell was the creator of that thinking?

Horseradish but must be freshly grated. You can add some sour cream if you absolutely must, forgivable with goose and duck but not really needed on beef or pork

If it comes in a jar, then mustard

edit: nothing with lamb and I don’t really consider chicken for a roast

Lamb should be eaten straight from a spit, using a large, sharp knife and hands - preferably in a Croatian village near the Danube.
