Tenacity. Work-rate. Audacity. Talent. Effectiveness. Might.

I don't ask for much.

Hopefully most of our players get a breather prior to this game. We have a very intense schedule coming up (which includes two games on two different continents on consecutive days!) so I hope Klopp and co have been having a word with the various national coaches about the risk of burnout. If our players get fucked over now, they will not be available to their national teams when they really need them. At the very least, none of them should be selected for friendly matches.

As for Palace, just do what we've been doing to them at Selhurst for the past few years. If we play with any sort of intensity, Palace will struggle to keep up. The longer the game goes on, the more they will simply camp out in their own box regardless of the scoreline. Their manager's ethos is to either hold on to what they have, or damage limitation.

One of those just win it games. After an international break, away from home, energetic opposition, noisy crowd, motivated management team.

Exactly unlike when they play anyone challenging us and roll over like brasses in brussels.
